Most creators who actually create that I know are busy making stuff and not complaining about all the things which make them not create.
As someone who's worked on a fanfilm and helped others making fanfilms and written extensively here to try to point newbies in helpful directions I'm frankly beyond tired of tedious armchair quarterbacking by those who feel it necessary to inject their complaints and outrage at every possible turn.
Water is wet. Guidelines exist. Fanfilms can go on, even if not exactly in the form of your dreams. Enough shouting into the wind. Have some pie.
