Is surviving Mars on PS4 worth it?

The title says it all. £35 seems a bit steep for what seems like an Indy game rather than a proper studio release.

Has anyone bought it? Could you offer an opinion?

this is a purely philosophical point, but what does the game's provenience matter when we are judging its quality as a product

Surviving Mars, above else, is about hope. So many strategy games hold to their gameplay, eschewing any overarching themes or messages. But, as corny as it sounds, for those who believe in the majesty of spaceflight, for those who are keen to marvel at how pernicious our plucky little species can be, Surviving Mars is SimCity with soul.

Maybe, but I just expect Indy games to be cheaper compared to AAA studio releases, which to be fair £35 is I guess.

I did end up buying it and I’m hooked lol. Bit of a steep learning curve and the tutorial isn’t especially helpful.

I would describe it as Solaris meets Sim City.
