Cinema Blend reports that Michael James Shaw (and not Peter Dinklage) is playing Corvus Glaive.
Current speculation for Dinklage is he's playing a dwarf that provides Thor with a new weapon to replace Mjölnir.
I'm expecting to see some reviews soon. Won't look at any today, and doubtful tomorrow also. Got four movies left in my rewatch - only skipped two (as I need to buy the Hulk movie and Thor - the Dark World is meh)Yup, it's tonight and I expect we'll see at least Twitter reactions this evening. I've created a review thread for the film, so any of those reviews should be posted over there.
I think it's only a recent development, built out of necessity because people couldn't see room for another character and just assumed he was part of the Black Order because we didn't know who was playing them.[/quote]How did that Corvus rumor even start?
I'm pretty sure it's safe to say he's not playing Pip, but some other (perhaps new) character. Those photos didn't make it clear who he was playing.Dinklage was photographed in Pip gear many moons ago
Nerdist think that Corvus' voice - from what little we heard - sounds like Dinklage:How did that Corvus rumor even start? Dinklage was photographed in Pip gear many moons ago
Based on what (I'm not bothering with the video)? That clip of Black Widow, Falcon, and Cap fighting two of the Black Order? You barely hear his voice. It's not the first time I've seen that speculation but it's really grasping at straws.Nerdist think that Corvus' voice - from what little we heard - sounds like Dinklage:
Yeah, Nerdist do get a bit like this sometimes.Based on what (I'm not bothering with the video)? That clip of Black Widow, Falcon, and Cap fighting two of the Black Order? You barely hear his voice. It's not the first time I've seen that speculation but it's really grasping at straws.
Which is why I don't bother with sites like that.Yeah, Nerdist do get a bit like this sometimes.
Yeah, between those photos and how Feige or the Russos said we would recognize him fairly quickly, I'm inclined to think we'll see him as is and not some kind of motion capture performance and/or voicing.Early theories had Dinklage playing Pip after he was spotted sporting bright red hair around the time he was set to film his scenes. As more info about the movie has come to light, the smart money seems to be Eitri, the Dwarf King and Master Forge, whom Thor will seek out to craft a new weapon to focus his power.
Maybe he's just afraid of the competition.I don't understand why he seems to have such a grudge against comic book movies.
It's also worth noting that he did write and produce Battle Angel Alita, which is technically a comic book movie.
That and feeling irrelevant.Maybe he's just afraid of the competition.
That feeling will go away when his next movie (Avatar 2?) becomes the highest grossing movie of all time inexplicably while nobody admits to liking it.That and feeling irrelevant.
Oh, I admit to seeing it but I also admit that it was a complete waste of my time. That feeling will go away when his next movie (Avatar 2?) becomes the highest grossing movie of all time inexplicably while nobody admits to liking it.
"Pocahontas" meets "Dances with Wolves" in space. Did I miss anything?Oh, I admit to seeing it but I also admit that it was a complete waste of my time.
