I love how Riker was designed to be the #1 stallion of the show, but so far there are more votes for Data than for Riker

As far as a perfect "mate" would go, Claire Raymond -- the Soccer Mom from "The Neutral Zone" would probably be the best fit, actually. She wouldn't give me a lot of shite & she'd make a really excellent mother ... which would free me up to pursue my own interests. Who could axe for anything more?

I just went into more details in the Crush thread, but to give a shorter answer here, Barclay. He's cute in his own way, brilliant, funny. I think we'd click in a lot of ways.
The other men have their good qualities but I can't imagine them as good husband material, at least not for me. Picard would be married to his job. Riker wouldn't settle down. Data wouldn't be capable of actually love (until he gets the emotion chip anyways, he is more tempting then)
Miles and Geordie actually would be good husbands, they just don't do it for me.

Not a lot of women in TNG are my type. I guess Beverly if I was a little older. Smart, idealistic, attractive, likes to go out and have fun.

What about Sonja Gomez? She was cute and smart. She was clumsy and prone to panic, but I would put that down to nervousness around the captain and other senior officers. She got a better treatment in the S.C.E. stories.
True, I'd have to see how she acts around people who aren't her boss.
