Reportedly, there's a time jump from the end of the last season, although I forget the duration (somewhere in the six to twelve months region).

A.V. Club posted a glowing review of the first four episodes, i.e. the first half of the season. Sounds very promising!

Well, that was weird...that dance number at the end...this show is so crazy.

I think the show tries too hard to be crazy sometimes, but it's certainly a unique experience.

Was that Jon Hamm as the narrator?

I'm curious to find out why "future Syd" wants David to help Farouk, assuming that was actually Syd from the future (she did have the compass locket).

Although it probably won't happen for behind-the-scenes reasons, you'd think Division 3 and the Summerland folks would want to reach out to David's father in dealing with Farouk and the search for his body, especially since it's a time sensitive body.

Was that Jon Hamm as the narrator?

I read somewhere that it was, but he's not an actor I'm very familiar with, so I didn't recognize the voice. I'm wondering if he's actually going to appear as a character. Wasn't there a thing last season where Oliver was narrating for a while before we discovered who he was?
