Will be there be nudity in Season 2?

Meh, couldn't care less. With all the shit in real life these days, if a pair of boobs is gonna freak people out, I'm happy for them. Means they don't have any real problems to deal with. We already some klingon tata's on screen. Didn't bother me at all.

We never saw B'elanna's.

Whatsherface, the Klingon lady in Discovery. We saw some memoryflashes of them having sex, and we saw her boobs. Some outcry for 5 minutes from some fans, but most really didn't care.

I was just complaining that we never saw B'elanna's.

If we are to see Klingon boobs then it might as well be hers. She even looks sexy with the fangs.

Agreed about Roxann in her younger days. I know they wanted her to be the sex appeal of the show before they brought in Jeri Ryan.

Completely random, but does anyone else think actress Yaya DaCosta looks like a hotter Sonequa. Like Sonequa and Zoey Salanda fused together;

I had to do a double take.

"- the heroes are the Black female lead, the chubby girl, the Gay guy and the asexual Alien."

I could go on, but the mere fact you're still here pasting your explosive diarrhea passive-racist shit all over the place is pretty much proof you're immune to moderation while people who call you out for it are typically the ones chided, but there it is for anyone to see. this is you. Black women are disreputable commoditized legos to fill roles when needed but hopefully not too much.

Lol. That's amusing.

I love Black people and I love Black culture (in many ways far more than Euro-centric culture).

Nothing wrong with me pointing out here that YaYa DaCosta is hot, and she does bear a resemblance to Sonequa, though I definitely prefer the former over the later.

To each his own, I see it in the eyebrows, almond eye shape and smile.

And I stand by everything you reposted, especially that Danai would have made a better lead.

You're going to fail at trying to prove I'm a 'racist' when I loved Danai in Black Panther, and think she would be an amazing Black female lead on a Tv series.

Back briefly to the main thread topic, what about showing nudity in a way that is a commentary on our current societal mentality with on screen nudity. Star Trek has always tried to tell allegorical stories relevant to our modern culture. What about scenes that show how unimportant nudity is in a setting like a starship. We saw the idea of this on nuBSG with common area barracks and bathrooms, but I am thinking also along the lines of the now classic (god I am old!) Starship Troopers, in the mixed gender shower scene. Showed nudity, and yes, the 20th/21st century me liked it for "teh b00bs", not gonna like, but it also was a quiet but in our face commentary on how unimportant stuff like that will be in the future? Maybe a good way for the showrunners to serve both masters? A little social commentary via titillation?

That doesn’t really work though. How do you make nudity a shocking statement for a society used to nudity as cheap thrills? It’s not like it’s still the 1950s, there are nude scenes in PG-13 movies.

Having most of the humans being pansexual could be interesting, even mentioning the idea of humans limiting partners to a single gender is seen as a prudish and backwards. They’re attracted to the person more than seeking out a partner with certain characteristics. Maybe implying this is really a more natural state for humans, only being enforced by harmful social norms in the past.
