I can imagine Hera doing either. Covering the fleet's retreat (the Ghost had been covering the flagship really tightly up until we lost sight of the freighter once the Death Star arrived in system). Heading back in an effort to track down Leia. I can even see her making a run down to Scarrif in an effort to pick up survivors from Rogue One and Blue Group.

In all of these she would be either one step behind the Heroes of Yavin, or one step too far ahead of them forcing her and the Ghost to be someplace else when the Death Star arrived at Yavin.

I recently saw an interview with Dave Filoni where he said that he once joked with (I think) Gareth Edwards that if the entire Ghost crew had still been intact at the time of the Battle of Skariff, nobody would have died.

We've got Hera and Chopper with Ewoks post-Battle of Endor; Padme dealing with a monster during what seems to be her term as Queen on Naboo; Sabine and her brother defending a Mandalorian statue from Imperial desecration; a wordless Chewie/R2/Porgs vignette; an expansion/continuation of the deleted scene of Finn & Rey's escape from Stormtroopers on Starkiller Base; Luke & Leia post-Endor helping the Ewoks fight a big monster; and Ahsoka training Ezra with his first lightsaber, I guess between seasons 1 & 2 of Rebels?

My favorites are the Ahsoka piece and the Sabine piece (our first look at her later-season hairstyle in FoD), and the Finn/Rey bit was fun due to Boyega's energetic voice acting. The others were nothing special, although the Ewok/monster one does help explain why the Ewoks were equipped to fight enemies much larger and deadlier than themselves, so it actually helps make more sense of ROTJ. Anyway, FoD really seems to like post-battle Endor as a setting. Perhaps because that's the one time that all of the core OT cast and the surviving Rebels cast were in the same place.

The one with Chewie and the Porgs is kind of fun. Chopper befriending Ewoks is an amusing idea.

That was the best part of the whole set. A woman after my own heart.

Most of them were pretty enjoyable, particularly the Finn/Rey chase, although I had to roll my eyes at Padme's final line.

Something I take from this.....they are using material from the old Ewoks cartoon and the Ewok Adventures TV movies. I'm somewhat astounded by that. Mind you they had used some materials from Star Tours and hints of the old Droids cartoon in Rebels.

Ahsoka going into teaching mode was rather interesting. I don't know if Anakin ever taught her like that, but it was a different take on how she acts.

Also seeing Leia using a lightsaber is almost worth anything right now.

Of all the legends material out there, these are the ones that actually originated from Lucasfilm to one degree or another, so it makes sense that they'd be cherry picked first.

It did seem like a bit of an Anakin move, and her demeanour felt a lot more like her brash younger self, so I'd say it's more than likely.

Same here. I suspected something like what happened, but I didn't know. I never had any urge to check out the Ewok films or series at the time (or even now).

Spoiler: The Last Jedi

So, I realized earlier, you know what Ezra didn't do after his Master came at him swinging a lightsaber while he was unarmed, unwary, and defenseless?

I have no sympathy for Kylo Ren at all. Even putting aside the "burning down the school and killing everyone" part, for all he knew, Luke was doing some Inspector Clouseau surprise-training thing. A true Jedi wouldn't have panicked.
