What happen to my star trek?
True I never thought social funding would lead to anything good but such is life. Too much of a good thing is not a good thing because anywhere you look there's an Alec. At first it was fine to avoid the whole great than thou thing but it brought about the guidelines. Whatever the truth is, the fact is. it's done.
Hey I know that a small zero budget studio wasn't going to turn out awesome 10 times a year but the thought that against all odds you could get Very close was enough for me.
Anyhow, we had Discovery to look forward to!
Now I'm not going to knock STD because I'm sure some good folk are really digging it. But for me when a Star Ship can't pick up bio signs, or Phaser fire but footprints in the sand are easily detected I had to wonder who green lit the thing. Oh crud did I just knock STD? Slip of the index finger. I'll watch for that next time.
Actually I just dropped by to say hello and wish all the Trek fans my best. Sometimes it's one step forward and two back.
