Ridiculous crossovers you'd like to see?

Not a crossover, but if you smushed them together Tuvix-style, you'd probably get the movie R.I.P.D.

Oh dear. I think I bailed on that one quite early on. I liked the premise, but the execution was meh.

The Next Generation and The A-Team. Barclay meets Murdock and thinks it's a holodeck adventure ;)

Speaking of 80's shows, how about The A-Team, Airwolf, and Magnum P.I :)

Airwolf could be provided via old Vietnam war contacts, the A-Team could be friends of Rick's.

I read something about that actually happening only with Airwolf and Magnum PI or JAG.. But it never got past the idea stage.

I could see it happening with Magnum seeing as they have military connection and the fact that they're both created by Bellasario, but they don't quite line up in terms of eras, unless the crossover would be post-Magnum.

Yeah but what I read was an idea, it never got past that point. Was Airwolf before, during or after Magnum PI?

The Doctor in the MCU head to head with Deathshead. It happened in the comics, it should happen on screen. I wouldn’t even mind if the Doctor was recast and we were left to speculate on the nature of MCU connection the whoniverse.

Ever since I learned about the Marvel Doctor Who comics I’ve had the image of the seventh tootling around with/on gobot scooter,

Airwolf was from 1984-87. Magnum P.I actually started much earlier and ended after Airwolf was done, from 1980 to 1988. But apparently there is already a connection as there was an episode of Magnum intended to be a backdoor pilot for a new series that after having been reworked became Airwolf. Interesting.

Wow.....

South Park and Family Guy.

After South Park did an entire episode about how Family Guy went with lame easy jokes about randomly stringing together references that didn't derive from the story, the crossover would be a glorious car wreck. Characters arguing with each other about what is funny and what isn't.

Doctor Who/Frasier

Frasier runs into Romana I and they have a nice long talk about psychiatry. He brings her home and there is the Tardis in the hallway, Romana tells him her ride is here, kisses him and then pops in the Tardis and leaves.

Doctor Who just works with Everything. The Doctor could walk in to the Woolpack or the Coffee Shop from Friends, and have the regulars facing off the monsters. He could team up with Robocop and bring down OCP. He could take on the xenomorphs with Sigourney before Stopping krypton’s sun exploding. He could team up with Aslan and bring spring back to Narnia, help Mr Benn decide what suit to wear, and fix Tedd Glen’s dry wall. He could help Morbius bury the crew of the Bellerophon on Altair 4 and watch Rebo and Zooty live in Time Square.

Try as I might I can’t think of a single series or movie the Time lord and his box wouldn’t naturally inhabit. ER, CSI, Eastenders, Yes Minister, Mr Ed, On The Buses, Lost in Space, My Little Pony (Dr Whooves) , Grange Hill, Space Above and Beyond, How I met your Mother, Jessica Jones. They all work.

In a lot of scifi/fantasy shows you could throw Buffy in the universe and she'd just kind of beat up the villain. Demigorgon? What demigorgon? Smoke monster? Willow, magic that thing away.

There's an excellent fanfic in which it turns out that the Fourth Doctor was Jesus.

A "Nowhere Man" and "The X-Files" crossover.

Ridiculous because it would mean both shows take place in the same fictional universe, which means there are two wide-reaching conspiracies

Kinda like when they did a crossover between Masked Rider & Mighty Morphin Power Rangers where they established that there are 2 separate groups of megalomaniac space aliens trying to conquer Earth by just attacking the same damn city over & over. :)

Excel Saga/South Park. Because, even by Kenny's standards, Agent Hyatt dies A LOT! :D

And now that makes me want to see a ghost meet-up between Pedro from Excel Saga and Thelma from Hex.

Buffy and Stranger Things.

Another sci-fi show Buffy could probably end in one week.

Yeah, you kinda get used to seeing slayer strength solve problems. Like, there was an episode of Tru Calling where some murderer was chasing after Tru and she was all scared & running & hiding and I kept getting frustrated that she didn't just kick the guy's ass, since I was so used to seeing her as Faith.

Action/Made in Canada. Peter Dragon discovers how much cheaper it is to make movies in Canada, so he signs a co-production deal with Pyramid Productions. Amoral hijinks ensue.

Since Pitch Perfect 3 ventured into the action genre a little bit, I feel like the next logical step is... Pitch Perfect in Space! Which then makes me think that it would be neat if a ship full of android duplicates of the Bellas somehow ran into Red Dwarf.

Doctor Who/Red Dwarf. The human skin trampoline known as Cassandra takes umbrage at the idea of Lister calling himself the last human, so she becomes yet another nutter that the Dwarfers have to fight.

And while this is stretching things because it's getting into web series, I'd like to see The Angry Video Game Nerd team up with the '90s Kid from Linkara to review Revolution X.
