Erk, typing on phone and that was supposed to say 14 or so, sorry.
I have a sweater that I still wear around the holidays that's about 30 years old.
The helmet is different but I was thinking pieces may have fallen off over the years.
I liked the suits but my only complaint is that Dr. McCoy gave Kirk the antidote through the suit. That's less about the suit and more about stage direction, I think, but if a suit is supposed to be a barrier to protect you, how would the hypo get through?
I'd suggest Dr. McCoy putting the hypo down through the top hole once the helmet was removed and giving Kirk the shot in his upper shoulder lower neck area to avoid the suit, but I doubt they were worried about it at the time.

I thought the visor screen looked pretty beat up. But I did notice that the helmet sat very high on Conrad Janis, compared to how you can see all of McCoy's face. That was odd. But I'm certain they re-used an original TOS helmet and red "Naked Time" costume.

Some grabs from the episode ("Mork goes Public" on youtube) The helmet does look original compared to TOS screen grabs with missing detail items probably lost over the 10 years. Just looks like some tape there where the name plate should be, don't know why there is one in the back?
He probably just had a shorter neck than DeForest Kelley.
Our skin is supposed to be a barrier to protect us. The hypo is designed to pierce that barrier. I see no fault in it also being designed to pierce the barrier formed by the suit, too.
I mean, Dr. Farnsworth had it right: a spacesuit is supposed to deal with a pressure differential of one atmosphere or 14.7 psi at most. A syringe that can't put out at least thrice this would be a pretty useless piece of equipment, and ten times as much is pretty common ITRW. Trek could only be expected to do better.
The weird thing is, why doesn't the suit have its own built-in tri-ox injector? Now that stuff sounds really handy!

Wow- Never realizied Mork's suit was Colonel Green's. Of course Mork's helmet was the one used by Michael Ansara in "Soldier" on The Outer Limits.
I haven't been this excited about discovering a Trek link in other pop culture shows since Sid Melton played a record of Enterprise bridge sounds on Gomer Pyle USMC. (Yes, that really happened.)
I think the original Colonel Green jumpsuit was used only in the Happy Days episode that introduced Mork. They put him in that, slightly modified, to save time and money.
Then when Mork & Mindy got a series order, they created copies of the suit that were tailored for Williams and, if you compare photos, looked better on him. They would need multiple copies anyway in case of coffee spills, and possibly for stuntmen to wear. And the star of a prime time network show generally gets new, tailored outfits.
Maybe that hypo that McCoy used on Kirk was extra strong?

Yeah, you're probably right. I do know someone, however, who built his own.
Since his character is neither Kirk, McCoy, nor any other character from Star Trek, it would have been illogical to keep any nameplate on the helmet for this scene.
