I voted lorca because that is who I want it to be but I'm really expecting a new character played by somebody who is well known or at least well known in genre circles. I think they want a "pop" with the announcement similar to Bacula and Isaacs.

*I really don't like Browder. I know a lot of people love him, but there's just something about him that puts me off. He was the reason I could never get into Farscape and completely stopped watching SG1.

Damn. That possibility as a worthy follow-up to Lorca was the reason I started this thread, and I forgot to include it in the options.

S1 blew the secret Terran and secret Klingon cards, so we only have a secret Romulan left to play.

Would like it to be Saru but since we know they were picking up a captain at Vulcan, I'm guessing it might be Garth, as others have said.. If Una isn't aboard Enterprise than it could be her. I think we will eventually see Prime Lorca but not yet. Maybe not even the next season.

James T Kirk is probably too young, and I think he's aboard the Farragut at this point.

In any case I suspect a series of events leads to Disco not picking up her captain and Saru keeps the chair awhile longer. Which he should, he needs the leg room.
