Trailer music isn't generally related to the soundtrack. In fact, it's usually from other movies (like, say, Zimmer Batman-esque albums).

Since trailers are assembled by other parties, sometimes other companies, this is neither surprising nor unusual.

I'm actually clinging to the Pine/Shatner thing in order to allow myself to look forward to this movie.
I'm telling myself that Pine generally looked and sounded nothing like Shatner ( and doesn't even have the right eye color ) yet I mostly enjoyed his three films.

This guy is a lot more like Ford than Pine is like Shatner. It's funny, though - as much as everyone loved Star Wars in '77 it's not like folks were pouring out of theaters hailing Lucas's discovery of a bunch of young stars in the making. The idea that Ford would go on to have one of the most successful long careers as a headliner in history was not presaged by his Solo...Hell, a few years later some of the "Brat Pack" kids seemed to have more spark and won more attention for their performances than the SW cast.

I’m just saying on this occasion I think he would have been the better man for the job, IMO.
