I'm going to learn a lot watching this documentary. The Peter Capaldi thing was almost shocking.
It wasn't shocking really, we always knew they'd read a great variety of actors for the lead role (as they did with Voyager), there just weren't many names attached because actors generally prefer to keep failed auditions to themselves.I'm going to learn a lot watching this documentary. One of the co-directors taking over what Adam was doing is Ira anyway, which I prefer. No offense to Adam, but Ira is DS9, Adam is only marrying into it. (In more ways than one.)
But Ira is very busy helping run Outlander, but you know he will get this done. One of the co-directors taking over what Adam was doing is Ira anyway, which I prefer. No offense to Adam, but Ira is DS9, Adam is only marrying into it. (In more ways than one.)
Is there a composer yet?
Given that a large part of the doc was showing how weird things got under Roddenberry, I think clips of Justice could have been considered evidence.I don't think seeing clips of people jogging around in 'Justice' would have hugely added anything.
I can't say I felt that Chaos on the Bridge suffered from the lack of clips - it was about what went on behind the scenes, not what ended up on screen.

I liked Chaos On The Bridge for this reason alone. What went on behind the scenes on TNG had long been rumored. It was so amusing to see it played out in cartoon form, and discussed at length.I can't say I felt that Chaos on the Bridge suffered from the lack of clips - it was about what went on behind the scenes, not what ended up on screen.

That list is fascinating. I guess it's natural to cast a very wide net for the lead. Keith David, John Slattery, Liam Neeson???The documentary filmmakers have posted a list of actors the casting director thought of approaching for Sisko:
