what are some of your favorite games that you just love to play over and over. Maybe the game feels like an old shirt or slippers that you just like to put on to relax in. Doesn’t matter the vintage, maybe you still have a Commodore Amiga 500 still hooked up to your 80” LCD TV. You don’t care that it doesn’t look good, you just love playing it whenever you really don’t know what to play?
I've probably replayed the Mass Effect 1-3 series more than I should (and Dragon Age 1 & 2) but haven't played the sequels as much. Dan Dare 1 (spectrum) and Fireforce (Amiga) were played repeatedly a lot along with the Wing Commander and X-Wing series (PC) back in the day, but it's been a while since I've touched those. I also repeatedly went through some of the microprose flight sims too. For shooters, I usually stick on Unreal Tournament 1, 2003/4 and 3 on for a quick replay every so often.
I've played the Ratchet & Clank, and Jak & Daxter games many times each. Well, the last Ratchet & Clank I've only played once so far, but I'll replay it eventually. I've also played the Star Wars and Superhero LEGO games a lot.
The Mega Man series. I've lost track of how many times I've played through those games. And with the classic and X series both coming to the Switch this year that will give me a good opportunity to play through both series yet again before Mega Man 11 releases.
I don't replay stuff these days (ain't nobody got time for that), but back when I did, it was mostly the OG Mass Effect (lost count) and KOTOR (come to think of it, I also lost count there).
I forgot about the first three uncharted games in my other post, I've played them quite a few times too.
Aladdin (GEN) Castlevania (NES) Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse (NES) Castlevania: Bloodlines (GEN) Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (SNES) RoboCop 2 (NES) Streets of Rage 2 (GEN) Super Castlevania IV (SNES) Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (SNES) Super Metroid (SNES)
woah, way too complicated - introduce sewage, and I'm out I would consider going back to the OG SimCity tho - also I'd like to check out SimTower at some point, never played it back in the day
Maybe you're thinking of another one? Sewage didn't come round until the 'new' SimCity, although Cities Skylines has it. SimCity 3000 had garbage, but it was easy...road, landfill, tadaaa. It's more difficult in Cities Skylines! SimCity 4 was the most complicated game in the SimCity series, I think. I liked the basic mechanics of the game, but not the regions stuff. This guy on youtube named LazyGameReviews did a review of SimTower if you are curious...i
Definitely...SimCity 2000 had those, too. They may not have been in SimCity Classic, though...I've never seen it having an underground view.
