I'm gay and growing up I dated a 16 year old right when I turned 18. I was a senior, he was a junior. In case his mom didn't like it I looked up age of consent. She loved me though. It's all insane. If you are pregnant you can marry the father when you are 12 as long as he's less than 21 in some states. (Yes pretty much guy rapes girl, but if she marries her older rapist the states look the other way. You know 'family values' and Good ol' Christian values.) It depends on if it's a straight relationship or gay relationship and the age of of the parties. It's 12-14 if the guy is less than 21, and this is in the stereotypical backward ass states, but even liberal ones never updated the laws from the 1800s. However this was 15 years ago but there have been articles written about the insane amount of child marriages that take place in the USA the last several years. It's really good info to have when the holier than thou assholes show up to yell at you for choosing to be gay, or have sex out of marriage or for letting the woman choose what she wants to do with her body.
