You’re right, it isn’t. Good eye!TESB? Snow speeders vs Walkers..oh wait! No that's not Hoth..LOL..hmmm
This will likely bear out a little more accurately, since TFA had a big upswing and then has dropped since then due to being the first Star Wars film in 10 years? TLJ likely doesn't have that protective coating.Weren't the TFA reactions also positive?
That sounds horribleOne of the most common comments I saw on the IGN article gathering some of the higher profile reactions was that it goes to a lot of unexpected places, and that it is not at all what you expect.
So it sounds like the people who were afraid this was going to do to Empire Strikes Back what The Force Awakens did to A New Hope won't have to worry.
This seems to be getting positive buzz because it takes risks with the story. I'll wait for spoilers to leak before I decide to see it. The spoilers I have read, if true, don't fill me with positivity. I have moderated expectations right now.
I don't care about spoilers. I never have. I'm capable of fully enjoying something despite knowing what happens beforehand (Apollo 13, The Crown, Game of Thrones, etc.).That is a horrible idea.
The review embargo lifts Tuesday IIRC, so wait for that instead of listening to random internet leaks.
I get that, but at the same time, spoilers rarely do justice to the film. I remember the furor over "Khan's magic blood." Reading it, I kind of cringed but then I watched it and not bothered by it in the slightest. But, I avoided the film for two weeks because of that.I don't care about spoilers. I never have. I'm capable of fully enjoying something despite knowing what happens beforehand (Apollo 13, The Crown, Game of Thrones, etc.).
Right now there are unsubstantiated leaks. But before I go out and spend $13+ on a movie ticket, sitting in a theater where people won't stay quiet while watching a movie, I will see if it's something I will enjoy watching first.
That is why I said wait for the reviews, there will probably be spoiler filled ones out there and will be more trust worthy then internet leaks.I don't care about spoilers. I never have. I'm capable of fully enjoying something despite knowing what happens beforehand (Apollo 13, The Crown, Game of Thrones, etc.).

Yes, how dare Star Wars have humor!!! O_oA commentator on NPR today said something along the lines of the movie is the "funniest Star Wars yet". Not sure if that's good or bad?
There would be that any way.I decided to read some spoilers for the film, and while I won't get into specifics, there's going to be a lot of unhappy people coming out of this film as it concerns one of the "new Trio" and a lot of whining about corporate lying, misdirection, and building up of false expectations (even though, in reality, there was no such thing).
