The Inhumans Marvel/IMAX

My High School, year to year, had 2000 kids, so there was a point in the middle, where I knew at least half of them by name, even if I hadn't every actually talked to them, because I was paying attention to gossip and sports.

The lower caste must have mostly been engineers keeping the the dome engines and co2 scrubbers running... Cleaners? That's important, and given supply and demand within such a small labour poor, no wonder that every cleaner had to be managed by 5 dudes with rifles.

The population is just too small.

Where were the babies and old people?

Well, I'm glad that's over. I will say that all things considered the finale was more on the satisfying side than not.

Gorgon's reaction to his resurrection further cements in my mind my theory about Auron's blood containing GH-325. All of the participants in the TAHITI project came through the other side with severe psychological issues. Daisy didn't suffer any ill-effects, but she wasn't actually dead yet when she was injected with it.

Since there's probably not going to be a season 2 I would love it if they just gave Agents of SHIELD carte blanche to wrap things up. I would love it if this big threat from the stars that they're so afraid of was Hive, and Daisy just says "Oh, we took care of him for you.":nyah:

Something that occurs to me...

The parallels between the endings of Inhumans and Thor: Ragnarok mean that Earth is now set to become home to two different sets of alien refugees. The Inhumans do have a legitimate (if distant) claim to residency, although I'm sure people will still cry "Alien invasion!"

I haven't yet seen Ragnarok (will soon), and so did not read the above spoiler (thank you very much for putting whatever it is in the appropriate tags!), but I presumed that the coming "threat" might have something to do with foreshadowing the upcoming Infinity War.

We don't know when they went to the moon on TV.

In the comics, it was the early 80s.

Marvel sliding time, their trip to the moon (in the comics) is always 5 years ago but Atlilan is a space ship and 10 years ago (our time), they took it to Kree space to take the #### over for a while.

Lucky that one of SHIELD's agents moonlights at the DEO, so they've got someone with experience with that sort of thing.

Eldrac is one of those cases that really makes you wonder about the logistics of sprouting your butterfly wings as soon as you walk out of the Terrigenesis chamber. Did he turn into a wall inside the chamber? Right after he walked out, at which point he had to be moved? Did he walk out, sense he was turning into a wall, and plant himself in the perfect spot?

They really copped out with giving us any idea of where the Inhumans were settling. You could tell they were keeping it visually vague so they could come up with something later.

Yeah, nice character development with Gorgon there....

Why does the fate of the Inhumans in this finale seem very similar to the fate of
the Asgardians in "Thor: Ragnarok"
?

If anything, the hope of filming in real world locations will allow them to actually genuinely use Medusa's hair.

Medusa's hair as we did see it in the opener really didn't work very effectively or convincingly, for me. I was kind of happy to be rid of it for the rest of the show. (Plus, her loss of it at Maximus' hands made for a pretty compelling scene.) Although I guess it has to come back at some point...if the show does, that is.

I think with greater prep time and a better wig, it could work better (although I thought the CGI was solid). That's the nice thing about shaving it, when it grows back people can accept any changes.

Sorry, but if you can't DO the character justice, DON'T include the character.

I have no knowledge of the character from the comics, so in all honesty I don't really care about that, personally. (Of course, I completely understand that others very much do, and that's only natural.) What I did find is that in context of the show, she ended up being one of the most compelling characters, but not until she was shorn, and perhaps even because of it to some extent. To me it was thoroughly proven that she doesn't need the hair, though the internal blow of having it taken from her by force (essentially a rape) was quite evident and moving. She was done plenty of "justice" in the overall drama, IMO, more than many others were. So I have no complaints about it at all. If it turned out that it won't ever grow back and she is permanently de-powered (but not dis-empowered), I would be fine with that, from what we've seen thus far.

Sorry to drag up an "old" thread, but Ming Na recently implied the Inhumans was cancelled.

Personally, I'd be disappointed as I think the show could be rehabilitated under a new show runner (why does Scott Buck keep getting work?) Admittedly, they'd need to do some massive PR to get an audience back. I'd like to see what happens to the Attilan Inhumans, and it doesn't look like Agents of SHIELD will be touching that storyline in the near future.

I was surprised its fate was considered in the air, I figured everyone pretty much assumed it was one and done for that show.
