Just buy the moron a ticket to Southern Australia, New Zealand or South Africa and ask him why he can't see Polaris in the night sky, the seasons are out of phase by six months, the sun's zenith is in the north, and the moon seems upside down. I doubt he has ever been outside the US or perhaps his home state. Travel broadens the mind.
Won't they just come up with some stupid reason and claim that this disc which are we supposed to live on tilts and that is why the sky appears different
It tilts for them and no-one else? Why do we in the North never see it tilting nor do we ever see southern stars - the UK has its night pretty much at the same time as South Africa so it's easy to test. Really, these people should be considered to be borderline mentally ill and pitied. There is something not right about them.

As metaphor and certain other (strained) qualifiers, one could allege the Earth is flat, getting smaller (communication and transport technology), larger than the sun (in terms of soul, compassion, etc), et cetera. In terms of literal spatial dimensions, it's very simple: The Earth is unequivocally round and is much smaller than the local star heating up the place. Be glad we don't live in a binary star system. Even Darwin couldn't adapt unless he was a flamer. Actually, back then he was likely deemed one, along with Newton and certain others from various time periods in human history, though given average IQ during the same time period, it's easy to see how all sorts of creative, critical thinkers would be disliked I suppose...

How DO these flat-earth nutbars explain how, if the Earth is flat and thus has edges, why does no one ever fall off?

If it’s flat, that means it ends at some point, otherwise mankind would be making new land and ocean body discoveries still, yet we are not and no edge has been found.
The stars in the night sky move in such a predictable way that only could occur is the Earth was … drumroll … ROUND.
If the Earth was flat, the Moon would disappear completely after it goes under the horizon, yet it never disappears and is always view-able from other areas on the Earth

I never said it was a logical reason, but believing that the Earth is flat is illogical to begin with and as such any argument they can come up with to back up their ascertains is also likely to be illogical.
Yeah, sorry, I didn't mean to imply you might think the reason was sound. There is no piece of evidence that validates their wacky ideas. They are just attention seeking nutters in my opinion. Spouting crazy stuff on the Internet seems to be the way to get noticed nowadays. They are useless people with meaningless lives and they seem to think they shouldn't go unseen and unheard by the world before the grim reaper takes them.
No need to apologise, but spouting nonsense on the internet is the 21st way of doing what people used to do on street corners.
