The XL Voyager is now available to pre-order on the UK site (I believe NEWS10 still works for 10% off)

I was gonna do it, but I forgot it says not available till 21st December. Which means knowing Eaglemoss and combined with the Christmas post, you probably won't get it till January. And seen as how they charge you now rather than when it's despatched (which I really hate), I'm just gonna wait instead actually.

The XL Voyager will be available come the middle of the week (the 29th) by the looks of it:

But I will be getting it in a few weeks when Forbidden Planet in town has them.

Edit: The date has now changed from today (the 29th) to Friday (the first).

IIRC they were doing a test run of a build-your-own Enterprise-D in the UK. Not the super-oversize one, but one that you build in levels, containing interior details like a 3-D deckplan assembly. Have no idea where that went, but like the test run of this series in the UK years before international release, it may potentially be their next big thing. I believe they're doing a similar thing with the BTTF DeLorean, with monthly magazines and parts to assemble a complete model. The photos I've seen of it - looks REALLY nice.

There's also the BSG line that I've been waiting for ever since it was announced that I am SO on it like white on rice!

A few US updates.

The glow in the dark Defiant magazine finally came today & the packing slip stated “reshipped” item so I guess the mystery email some of us got in regards to a replacement was this.

I ordered the jumbo Voyager off of the US XL Ships separate website a few days ago since it was showing, nothing on the regular website yet. Anybody ever use it for single shipments? I never received a confirmation email but unlike the regular website there is a section to view orders.

Also, I see the pending charge for Shuttle Set 3 on my credit card so that should be coming soon.

I ordered some stuff from them and it has been in Fishers, Indiana for six days now.

Any plans on them doing the Voyager probe from TMP?

IIRC, the main V'Ger ship has been talked about, but I believe they held off because it was really only seen, briefly, in its entirety in the remastered version of TMP (which never made it to Blu-Ray, sadly), and from a largely unpopular movie. I don't think the Voyager 6 module at the core of V'Ger has ever been considered, to my recollection.

The Designing Starships Vol. 3 is available on the US site now and the NEWS10 code works for it, which is interesting since no other codes ever seemed to work for any pre-orders until now.

Just recently saw the upcoming ships, Glad they are releasing some of the ships like the Springfeild and Challenger class, kind've a bummer there isn't a Niagra class however. I'm actually quite fond of that one, as strange as it looks.

So I know that Eaglemoss in the States let individuals know when ships have been shipped, but I was wondering, because it's been a fair while since I ordered anything off of them (The Kelvin nearly two years ago) if they do the same this side of the Atlantic? Or will it just show up when An Post delivers it?

How good is Eaglemoss about replying to customer service e-mails? I sent them one on Thursday morning about a package that has been in Fishers, Indiana since the 25th, and they still haven't replied and the package still hasn't shown up.

Niagara-Class USS Princeton was announced as an upcoming issue, it just hasn't been assigned a number yet.
