How good is Eaglemoss about replying to customer service e-mails? I sent them one on Thursday morning about a package that has been in Fishers, Indiana since the 25th, and they still haven't replied and the package still hasn't shown up.
They used to be really good when the Brits were running the show. Now, they're shit, sad to say.

So I know that Eaglemoss in the States let individuals know when ships have been shipped, but I was wondering, because it's been a fair while since I ordered anything off of them (The Kelvin nearly two years ago) if they do the same this side of the Atlantic? Or will it just show up when An Post delivers it?

So I've just had a word with the Eaglemoss customer service people over in the UK (it went straight through which was nice) and it turns out that my order was sent out from them to Royal Mail on the 24th November, but as I'm not in the UK, it can take anywhere between 14 and 21 days for delivery.

I also asked about the likely hood of Titan and Aventine being in stock again, but there are more on order and being made and they were surprised at how popular the two ships were, they just can't confirm when they'll be back in stock - This confirms what Ben said on Twitter a while ago and contradicts what was said in the FB group.

Awesome, thanks for checking.

My order finally showed up, and I was pretty disappointed with three of the four ships. The Stargazer nacelles are off-center badly from the front view, the Romulan Bird-of-Prey has a bent nacelle and the K'tinga is also off-center when looking at it from the front.

They're okay if you don't look at them closely.

The Stargazer model was the source of much consternation amongst the fandom - vilified for being probably one of the most inaccurate models of the whole line, specifically as it applies to the hull thickness, which was way too thin compared to both versions of the on-screen models.

As for the damaged/misshapen bits, you should be able to call them up and get replacements. For all the problems they've had in recent years over the quality of their customer service, that one particular thing seems to have remained relatively reliable.

A bit of missed details don't bother me as much as the two parts of the ship being out of alignment as much as it is on this particular model.

I'm not really looking for them to replace anything. Just disappointed in the overall quality of the models. I bought the TOS 1701 from Entertainment Earth about a year ago, and was really impressed with it. The Defiant has the same build quality it seems. On the others, they seemed to use far more plastic and their placement on the stands don't seem as stable. Overall, I'm not as impressed with their product now.

@137th Gebirg, thanks for answering my questions when it comes to Eaglemoss. You were very helpful throughout the process.

It's not a problem, I thought while I was on the phone with them, I'd ask about Titan given that's not on either the UK based or US based shop, where as Enterprise E XL and Aventine are on the latter, but not the former.

My Stargazer was uneven, meaning the bottom and top nacelles didn’t line up. The top ones were fine but the bottom ones were tilted at an angle.

I gently moved the bottom nacelles back and forth and they came off as one piece. I was then able to use some Testor’s model glue to put in back in place in the correct alignment.

Not sure about your other two but it is possible to fix some of the issues if you’re okay with taking it apart a little.

I agree that it probably isn't a difficult fix, but it is a fix I really shouldn't have to undertake.

Have them reship. BoP and Ktinga are actually one of the better early models. The NX-01, however, is amazing. Might be the single best ship they've ever put out.

Other amazing models include:
Romulan Warbird (both of them)
Jem Hadar fighter
Romulan Drone
Vorcha
Andorian cruiser
Phoenix
Steamrunner
1701-A
Borg Queen's ship.
DS9
Also, the ISS Enterprise. It's not just a repaint. They tweaked it to look more like the pilot version.

Hi, this is a long shot but I was wondering if anyone had a box for the Special Edition Eaglemoss NX-01 that they no longer want?

I live in the UK and I'm on the lookout for one. Thanks

Haven't even gotten mine through the subscription yet. :(

Shuttles Volume 3 arrived today, though. Small as usual, but nice.

Just got an email that they're sending me the XL TOS-E and the Designing Starships Vol. 2, neither of which I ordered. Still waiting for the XL NX-01 and the Designing Starships Vol. 3. FFS, Eaglemoss! Unfuck thyselves, already!
