Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

Gomtuu, Promellian, Karemma, Keldon Class Cardassian, Apollo Class/Tosk ship, and Son'a ships already, jeez. ;)

Nice!
Completely forgot about all of them. Not sure if I'd buy any of them, but I do believe some of them (Son'a, Karemma, ...) might have some fans!

Also, I believe there still are some one-off Voyager alien ships missing - there were a lot in "Year of the Hell", or Irina's ship from "Drive".

Yeah I'd love the Krenim warship, and the Mawasi & Nihydron ships from the end too. They're pretty cool designs, albeit seen fairly briefly

Actually, a question for all you people:

What starships that you are interested in are still missing in the collection?
I think there are one or two Vulcan ships still missing from ENT (the shuttle), and the T'Plana Hath. But at the moment I can't think of any other specific starships we still need models from.
plenty more kelvin timeline ships to do: enterprise-A, narada, federation fleet ships from star trek 2009, USS salcombe (whatever that looks like). also i’d be into a yridian starship from TNG, little-seen but pretty sweet design:

Just received the Springfield class USS Chekov (and the Captain Proton ship). It's beautiful! I love how this was reproduced from the original and is an excellent addition to the more obscure ships of the fleet. They could have done this one on the cheap, being a lesser-known background ship, but it has the same level of quality as others that have come before it. Another fantastic missing piece to the BOBW fleet. I just wish there was more about the original miniatures in the book like there were in other issues. I've seen quite a few photos of this ship online, both of the Sternbach study model (that this one was clearly based off of) and the Miarecki filming model, and there weren't any of those in there, sadly. Other than the book, definitely a great-looking model, despite its suffering from a bad case of Oberthitis. ;)

yeah they have a strange relationship to canon. they didn't put the thunderchild's name over her registry because it wasn't present on the ILM asset, despite that being a clear mistake. but now we're seeing a whole slew of barely canon designs being produced (the best of both world starships in pristine condition, the NX-01 refit, now this). i might be interested in the XCV as a standard size model, but i have no attachment to this design and can't imagine spending $50 for it. this feels like a waste of special slot.

Just to add to this, I just got a backfill order for the Holoship and I'm not sure what they were thinking having it backwards. Like, I get there was some last minute changes, but still. It looks bad and I don't think it's any more faithful.

1701-E Nemesis version. No really.
While we're at it, Shinzon's flagship.
Kazon mothership.
NX-2000 Excelsior (no, it's not just a decal change)
Borg Probe from Voyager.
Regular Borg Cube, like the size of the Tactical Cube.
Klingon D-4 battlecruiser Concept
And why the hell not, a Lockheed F-104 Starfighter.

Phase II Enterprise and the Probert 1701-C are day 1 orders for me too, but those already announced.

Well, that 1701-B looks exactly like mine. Okay, almost. Mine (batch A/A, so 1st run?) has the "NCC-1701-B / USS Enterprise" decal on the inboard side of the Warp nacelles. That pic shows it on the outboard.

It's supposed to be on both sides, for a total of four decals. They got that part right on the 1701-TMP, 1701A, 1701-C and 1701-E. Not sure why they got it wrong on the B, as it's one of the best preserved and we'll documented models in the franchise. The aft pennant is completely missing on the Excelsior model.

/nitpick

Are they updated repaints or just new box designs?
pretty sure it's just the boxes.

folks on the eaglemoss fan group FB page are saying these are solicitation photos from the early days of the collection, so don't go by the photos.

Is the ring ship a special or an XL?

If i have the standard subscription is it something I'll get (eventually) or is it something I should just order through their website?

It's a special (like DS9, Jellyfish, Franklin, K-7, etc) it's just quite big :)
I think it depends if you opted in (or out) to be subscribed to the specials along with your collection. I don't subscribe so not 100%. But if you got all the other specials as normal I assume you'll get this.

120 issues in (and confirmed to go up to 150) there's still quite a few ones they haven't done. The Talarian Observation craft, Talarian warship, Tamarian/Klaestron/T'Lani ship, Borg probe, Tarellian ship, Batris and its derivatives, Mondor a.k.a. the other TNG "triangle ship", Ferengi shuttle, Jem'Hadar battleship, Cardassian Keldon class... and so forth.
The Yridian ship (a unique design only used twice) would be nice too.

And there's also the First Federation golf ball, so long as we're looking at mega-ships. So looking forward to more space stations, too. I wonder if they'll do a TMP/TWOK drydock in scale with the refit.
