Oh, that's good. That hopefully means less bloated excess in the action/CGI sequences.
Will you be watching Justice League in theaters, or be waiting for the movie to arrive at your library on dvd to borrow like BvS?:vulcan:

Given what we have seen, and what we know, is there any chance at all that this movie won't be awful?

Why are we supposed to assume that this movie is going to be awful based upon what we've seen? How are we supposed to come to this conclusion?

I saw "BvS" in the movie theaters. Which means that I'll probably see this film in the theaters, as well.

There was something about that trailer. I think people call it "HU.....MOR"?

Hollywood will eventually saturate its comic book hero movies with what you keep claiming that you want . . . and one day you'll get sick of it and demand a return of the angst. Then, you'll get sick of that and demand the return of humor. Back and forth . . . like the James Bond fans. Forever wanting something different than what you already have.

Posters have been awful, trailers have been awful, all the rumors have been awful. Any reason to believe that this isn't a where there is smoke there is fire situation?

Well, trailers don't look good, and just playing the odds with DC films I'm not optimistic,

HOPEFUL yes, very very hopeful, but not optimistic.

I am actually a fan of the tone of BVS, but not the style. JLA looks more stylized, but with a whole different tone which doesn't fit the actors who were cast for the more somber tone. So now we have a worst of all worlds situation.

I'm very tempted to listen to the music, but I'd rather wait till I hear it within the context of the movie.

I am curious if Superman has a big role or just a small part in the end battle

I couldn't help noticing that the recent ads and posters are using the tagline "Stronger Together," which was established in episode 2 of Supergirl as the meaning of the House of El's sigil, i.e. the Superman/Supergirl S shield. Of course, different continuities have given it different meanings (I think Superman: Birthright in the comics said it was the Kryptonian glyph for "hope"), but I wonder if maybe the movie could be borrowing that idea from the show and using the slogan to hint at Superman's return. I'm probably reaching quite a bit, though. "Stronger Together" was also Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign slogan (after it was used by Supergirl), so maybe the tagline has a different sort of meaning.
