the merits of the show have nothing to do with "the MAGA" crowd. Yes the Klingons are one dimensional, only trump supporters would like that show.

There are just some people who hate the show so much, it must be "That's for conservatives" because I hate both. The race of aliens is one dimensional and warlike so, the MAGA people would like it.

Actually if you were to look into it you'd find the exact opposite. The rumored point about the Klingons is to insult the perceived isolationist and purist politics of the hard right, not to make a show for the MAGA crowd. Though I think that's equally petty in nature, your idea that the show is making a point to say brown people are bad is beyond absurd.

I believe the idea that you're buying into and pushing that "it must mean it's written for the maga crowd" is pretty. Very petty. And also categorically incorrect.
I've come to the conclusion the developers of this show are damned if they do no matter what. There is almost some compulsive need to find things to hate about it, among a lot of viewers. If it survives that toxicity at all, it will have done so, like trek usually does, in spite of its fans.
So if we question what choices they make we hate it and are creating a toxic atmosphere? Damn, that sounds like it was written for Trump!
