No, they do not. Bald is not "alike" many folks are bald and we have seen bald klingons before. The ridges are nothing alike, not even close, the ears are not the same. The head shape is not the same. They lack the pits in the skin the DSC versions have. There are dozens of differences between the two. They are as much apart as DSC make up is from the TNG version.
You simply know the same man designed them, and have convinced yourself a connection is there where it is visually lacking.
And there are many similarities; Moreso than other Trek series and movies.

No, there are not. They are as much a like as DSC and TNG or DSC and the TMP make ups. Really man, I am not sure how you can honestly say they are even close.
And I'm not sure how you can honestly deny the similarities.

Because "Bald and brown" are not similarity. The images you just claimed proved your point kills it totally. Nothing about those make ups look alike. Not even "Kinda" alike.

Not, that is all it is. Not even the same shade of brown. The ridges are nothing alike, the brow is nothing alike, the ears are not alike, the head shape is not the same. The details on the skin are not the same, nore do they share the pits we see in DSC.

Let's us call this universe as Re imagining Reboot Universe, so we won't be confused with the previous visual arts.
Yep, just a redesign. Trek does this often, this is the Klingons 3rd or 4th major redsign in the prime setting. Most major races got them, look how many times Andorians have been changed, and that was minor but enough fans made a whole theory about 4 genders on it.
"Discoveryverse" works for me.
Aside from the silhouette of the warship seen in unremastered "Friday's Child," which is definitely not a D7.
