The Indiana Jones films are from a bygone era ... another Century, in fact. They are not for all, certainly. But for those with an acquired taste for adventure movies of old, RAIDERS of the LOST ARK alone, reigns supreme. Believe me, when I tell you that, Sir ...And an Indiana Jones-like warehouse is the best simile I've ever heard to describe my collection of wallpapers (even though I've never seen the Indiana Jones films myself ...

The Human Adventure? Is that a show of some kind?
As you know, English is NOT my mother tongue so I really must ask this: is "oft" an English word? It is German for "often" but I've never seen it used in English What am I missing? Please, teach me ...
I believe you, I've just never got down to them really. As for adventure, I like the type that we can see in THE MUMMY films (the first two only) or for example, the whole StarGate SG-1 show is a big adventure for me if we discount those horribly boring political episodes. So I might give Indiana Jones a chance one day ... although Harrison Ford is and will always be Han Solo for me (I'm almost as big a fan of Star Wars as of ST VOY).
Sometimes, I will employ Old Fashioned -- often disused -- phrases to colour my posts. To give them a different texture, or flavour. And also, just to amuse myself with it. I hate typing so much Thomas ... I know that's hard to believe with my bolstered post count and my Admiral Stripes and ... and so forth. But it's true. Typing is tedious and primitive to me, so it helps alleviate the chore-like aspects of it for me ... a little bit.
In his prime, Harrison Ford had, indeed, left an indelible mark on celluloid. Several of the movies he participated in have become Classics, like RAIDERS, STAR WARS, BLADERUNNER, WITNESS ... and others. I just kind of wish that he wouldn't have been so keen on reliving Glory Days in these, his Golden Years, by coming out with needless & unasked for sequels to franchises better left in their undisturbed & Classic state: like BLADERUNNER, INDIANA JONES and, of course, STAR WARS.
I think if you like the Mummy movies, you would find Indiana Jones enjoyable.

Ah Lon Suder, enigmatic, fascinating character but gosh, what a dangerous guy (better not to look askance at him!).
I really like him too and wouldn't have minded some more episodes with him. Having said that I don't know how they could have developed his character so that he would remain an interesting figure after he became the "good guy".
