Star Trek Voyager Desktop Wallpapers

Now if you thought that orange was the new black, you were wrong. Apparently purple is the new green - at least in Borg City ... :D:D:D

Hi girls! So you really appreciate our beloved Captain's simple but efficient solution to the problem? It seems that this kind of thing works in most situations - be it resolving a problem or just diffusing a conflict. Janeway herself mentions in HUNTERS that she'd even defeated the Borg with the help of coffee. People here often keep complaining about how Seven's nanoprobes seemed to work like a panacea. They are wrong! The real panacea on ST VOY was black coffee, not the nanoprobes ... Apparently even nebulae contain coffee in the Delta Quadrant.

Hi Lynx! Where have you been hiding recently? :) And where's that picture of yours? Share it with the rest of the world then.

All fingers crossed. Perhaps you should write an email to CBS/Paramount - they might have it in one of their storehouses somewhere. I guess it isn't needed by anyone these days any longer so maybe you could have it.
As for me, I prefer something more colourful than that. I'm sure that jacket is functional ... just not visually pleasing enough ... Not for me anyway.

Lynx Planet? Where in the galaxy (or outside :D) is that? Coordinates please. I might pop in if you are willing to welcome guests. But only if it's not a hostile planet (climatewise). Something like the one the 37's lived on. That seemed like a pleasant enough place.
It's located near the Badlands where Voyager dissapeared.
We have cold winters but warm summers.
The Emperor's Palace is located on a mountain outside the capital. Either you beam down or land at the space port and go by public transportation.

The Emperor rules by the Yngwie Malmsteen idology which states: "Everyone is free to have their own opinion and come up with suggestions but in the end it will be like I want it to be."

As for the Voyager picture I once did, I will get back to it. I have to get an old computer going first.

The Emperor ... being you?:devil::devil:
Oh, I love the purple color and I love these 3 ladies so, this wallpaper is all bonus for me! THANK YOU, Thomas Eugene!!! :techman:
Any time, Ghislaine (is that a real French name, I wonder?). More to come with the purple Queen, including the whole Voy crew (sometime in the distant future ... :))

To answer to your question, Thomas Eugene, yes, Ghislaine H. BRAEME is my real identity Not very original, I know but well, ;-)
( I'd add that this name, Ghislaine, also the advantage of designating my gender. For men, it will be Ghislain). In short, the "e" at the end, makes all the difference! :-)

I can't wait to see your other creations! :-D

Oh, it's all right. And why not use your own name? After all, it is an essential part of you.

And as for wallpapers, I've recently started working on some MELD pictures.

ONE SMALL STEP

An emotional episode directed by Robert Picardo, where Seven although very present and active, has been "dethroned" by Lt John Kelly (and a wonderful Phil Morris) and his oral interventions - through his logs - full of humanity & humility! :-D

What is funny - or ironic here - is that, Robert Beltran was looking forward to filming this episode, as it provided a rare development of Chakotay's character. But he ended frustrated when the majority of the episode was given over to Seven of Nine's character development. I'd disagree with him because well, we ‎had the opportunity to see in Chakotay, a character development (not the most flattering, I admit but well,‎nobody is perfect, right?! -> for my part, I prefer that characters be presented with as much qulities as flaws. ‎It makes them more believable ;-) ) of a man so passionate or stubborn in his pursuit of something that he can act on an impulse*, ‎at the risk of taking any risk to reach his goal(s), even if it endangers his life and the others ; of a man who even when he is wrong and he knows it, does not appreciate someone (or is it only a ‎subordinate?) tells him a few home truths.
So yes, even if Chakotay ‎was not seen at his best in "One Small Step", Beltran was offered the opportunity to exist again, by doing something else than ‎remaining sticking to his seat, saying "yes, Captain". And his acting as a passionate jerk was pretty great! In short, it was better than nothing, right?! ;-)

(* it is the second time after "Maneuvers", when, hurt in his ego, he has stolen a shuttlecraft and went to battle with Seska).

I'm not sure I understand ...
Was Beltran first told that that episode would be focussing on Chakotay and when he saw the script, it turned out that it wouldn't?
Or was he told that Chakotay's character development would be different from what it had actually become in the episode?
Or was he told that his character would be developed WITHOUT developing Seven's character and when he saw the script he realized that Seven's character was equally developed and this frustrated him?

"One Small Step" was supposed to highlight Beltran's character, at least, that was what was said to him (when the main elements of the scenario were presented orally to him), but once the reading session began, he realised that changes were made and that his part had been not only reduced but changed in favor of Seven, letting the minimum to Chakotay (and not necessarily the best), situation whicb continued to frustrate him a lot.

When I saw the purple on Janeway's uniform on this wallpaper, I got an idea.

I've always wondered why Security has the same color as Engineering. It has been this way ever since TOS (the famous redshirts) and in TNG, DS9 and VOY where it was changed to yellow (probably because of the red shirt jinx).

As I see it, Security should have it's own color. Purple should be great for that.
