There is also nothing stopping an Alternate Timeline from having a very similar and shared history with the Prime Timeline.
Then it wouldn't be an alternate timeline.

Those aren't canon unless they're on screen. If an when they are, then I'll accept that.

No, it's just because I've seen numerous examples of the creators saying something, and it not being consistent with what's on screen.Well if you refuse to accept the word of the creators, then you're just impossible to have the discussion with, and I suspect any canon evidence that pops up you'll argue doesn't count, or figure out some reason why it is proof of nothing.
Consistency with everything that has happened previously isn't what makes something part of the Prime Universe.
Not as obvious as many seem to think. There are as many different universes as there are stars in the heavens but STD is obviously not in the same universe as TOS!

Was that the original working title of the show?Yeah, every time I see this I think "And this week on Kelvin Timeline theory totally busted"
Was that the original working title of the show?
Even if The Robau himself turned up on DSC, that still wouldn't convince...![]()
Those who want it to look like a campy 1960 TV show and to fail will never agree as they have lied to themselves.
This doesn't look like a campy 60's TV show to me. Looks like a modern reimagining of TOS.
