Kelvin Timeline all but confirmed

The Prime timeline has been overwritten by the Kelvin timeline. Everything after the events of Star Trek 09 is the real deal. TOS and all of its offspring no longer occurred in the way depicted on screen. You may think otherwise, but you are wrong. You are not remembering correctly. You thought something was wrong with you, but maybe something is wrong with the universe!

I actually thought that too, that the "Kelvin" timeline is in actuality overwriting the prime timeline, and all of the original shows are now in an "alternative" timeline (except for Enterprise) The Borg episode in enterprise would have to be struck from this new "prime" timeline because the "alternate" Picard probably won't have traveled back to 21st century Earth.

It all changed when that darn Sisko started his revolution in future/past San Francisco!

Well Speaking of Kelvin Timeline, I wonder what the version of Burnham is doing? I mean how do you think she dealt with the destruction of vulcan and all that wackiness with Nero?

I blame Canada. And Obama.

Me neither. I haven't watched ep 3 yet, but nothing in the first two pin it down to one particular timeline. If anything I'd say it's in its own timeline altogether.

And I'd say you have no idea what you're talking about (which, in my case, is a true statement).

Then please point to the elements that nail it to one timeline.

What the producers, actors and writers who are penning books based on the series said. Anthony Rapp, one of the biggest Trek nerds and classic TOS fans I know of in the entertainment industry, reassured us it's Prime timeline and part of the established continuity. What the set and prop designers decide to do, however, is completely independent of the decision to set the series in the Prime timeline and they're clearly taking visual cues from the Kelvin timeline films, but the people actually making this show and connected very closely to it are telling us not to worry.
