Are the new Klingons supposed to be White Republicans?

Seeing as how I think the next episode is set in a prision and we know about stuff that happens in prision everyone might soon be begging for a Klingon sex scene as the best alternative for the show when it does it version of sex stuff.

That would be a pretty progressive thing because like humans we have never seen how Klingons look at sex in terms of being gay or transgender. To go with a metaphor again you can use it as a means of seeing how that issue impacts gay and transgender people in Russia or under Muslim extremism.

And, regardless of economic systems and philosophies, the Federation is definitely supposed to be some kind of bastion of democratic freedom, as opposed to the authoritarian dictatorships that they encounter elsewhere in the galaxy.

Being transgender has nothing to do with sex.
They're isolationists, trying to maintain ideological and racial purity and pushing a fundamentalist religion. There are many groups in many places that can be applied to unfortunately.

I think there is a lot of debate to these terms but as I understand
gender is supposed to denote masculine or feminine.
male or female refers to sex.
If someone is a transgender "male" or transgender "female" then using both the term gender and "male" or "female" is referring to a change in both.
I don't have a social issue axe to grind here, I just like conversations that pick at definitions of words.

Gender is about identity. Sex, when not referring to the actual act, is more about the genitals. Think of it as gender is what's between your ears and sex is what's between your legs. Being trans isn't really about an actual change, it's about your gender not matching your sex. Some people will go through a process to change their sex because having a mismatch can be extremely stressful and painful. It's not like trans people suddenly become trans when they start that process, they were born trans.
This is where I think the debate in a lot of the terminology is, cause I've read what you posted here in many places, but have also read different definitions in different places, all sorts of differing interpretations by this PhD or that PhD.
It seems to me that there is no "true" commonly associated way to handle the change with culture. I mean, some word has to mean masculine for feminine, and traditionally, at least as traditionally as the topic we're discussing, gender was masculine or feminine and linked to those social roles. and male or female was reserved for "in or out"
I find it interesting and often think of where the words will fall into what circle, but as much as it's being said people are confusing one for the other, it seems the other side keeps using gender, and sex words, to mean both.
