Just got two emails about it & have signed up. According to the FAQ it will be an initial collection of 20 ships.

I can't tell - is this a whole new subscription line (like the XL ships) or is it included in existing subs?

Just got my confirmation email for the Discovery subscription. Looks like the account number is the same plus -002. My regular sub has -001 after the account.

Yes, there is a $9.95 charge pending for the Shenzou which ships by 1/31/18.

I’m guessing the regular $44.95 charge starts with Issue 2 Discovery in February.

I want to subscribe to the Discovery collection but $80 per month for two different subscriptions is a lot to ask for, imho.

I just started the regular Starship Collection. It'll take years for me to catch-up; hell, I may never catch up. Do you think I should cancel at some point and just purchase ships individually?

Literally no one is forcing you to buy these.

Personally, I would think it is upto yourself to make that decision.

No need to get upset. And accept my response as my own personal opinion on the matter given the tiny amount of information you have given on your own personal circumstances.

    • I understand that, "Literally no one is forcing you to buy these." I never implied that Eaglemoss was forcing me to buy their product. I simply made a point that paying $80 per month is a lot to ask for...

    • I'm 50/50 on whether or not to cancel my subscription. I'm searching for user's opinions on what I should do because I may not have considered certain points that will ultimately determine if I keep my subscription or not.

He was pretty clearly just thinking out loud and seeing what the rest of us think about it, getting the vibe as most of us will have getting these ships a lot longer and through various means. That was crystal clear to me. But you seem to take it as some kind insult and feel the need to teach him a lesson for even thinking to ask?

You've spoken to people like this for no reason before on here, I remember me a while ago. I think you need to think about how you come across and speak to people.

Well, I stand by my point, given all the work that is entailed to make these products and then sell them, with hopefully a profit and that means they can sell more of these products, no you is forcing you to buy these products, they're a luxury, I don't buy all of them for that matter, also since moving from the UK, they are increased in price. So my opinion is, as you asked for opinions is that no one is forcing you to buy them and I will implicitly say, because it seemed to have been lost somewhere, it really is upto you, do you want all of them or just some of them.

I personally think it's a binary decision, you either can justify them at the price they are, or you can't, if you can't, you should go with what you feel is right.

You are aware that mini moding is frowned upon.

The answer depends on: Which ships do you want?
Do you want every single one? Or your favs plus a few more?
And will you still want them around ten years from now?
Would you prefer to pick and mix?

I know the answers to those questions for myself, and chose appropriately.

I got a similar email, 3 for the price of 2. However it’s for the UK website & everything’s in pounds.

Doesn’t do me a lot of good in the US.

Does anyone know if and how the Discovery ships will be available in Germany? On news stands, like the regular issues, or only via the online store? I'd love to get the Shenzhou and the Discovery and I wonder why Eaglemoss isn't clearer about this?

Does anyone know how I can access my digital subscription? Customer Service has not responded to my emails.

Also, does anyone know if the Titan magazine will eventually ship separately? It said on my receipt that it would but I was wondering if that's the standard for everyone
