Someone on a set visit mentioned they spotted a tactical map that showed the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-A, so, you know, shit still happens.
I heard that on the Official Star Trek Podcast

The ship has a wicked skate park, brah. Plus mondo wheelchair access, because we're socially conscious, yo.But what is up with all those ramps??
But what is up with all those ramps??
HolodeckI wonder what that big room on deck 4, aft section could be. And deck 5, aft section.... Warp core??

You can probably make out a miniature Riker and Troi in there as well.Holodeck. Ducks for cover.

Correct me if I'm wrong but so far Voyager/Intrepid has been the only Starfleet starship shown to be designed to land, and it was smaller and had more aerodynamic curves compared to its peers.
Ooh, burn on Deanna TroiThe VOY hero ship is the only big one shown to land all the way to the surface intact and then take off again.
Which I'm not sure the writers ever knew about. They didn't even know how many decks Defiant had, with a deck 5 mentioned at one point despite the MSD having only four.IIRC there were landing gear on the Defiant's MSD.
Similarly, Voyager's MSD had secondary warp and computer cores, which were contradicted by episodes establishing one of each.
