For a long time, I've had this idea of having a 24-hour news network that told TODAY'S news, but in a future setting: "On this date, 200 years ago..."
This should be fun... We've had Trek political ads as a theme before, and I did one that showed a news broadcast on-screen for a mirror-universe Borg story.
So, any takers? Unfortunately I didn't find time yet to really think about my entry. Definitely would like to enter, though. Nice find! Hadn't noticed these in the movie. Some neat references in there! Here, I took some screenshots …

Thanks for sharing these! They might be helpful. That “Press and Information” logo looks familiar. Where might I know that from? It'd be awesome if you'd enter something! If no-one minds, I think I will extend the submission period for a few days. I'm thinking at least until Monday. I would like to throw something together as well, but it's been a busy month and I haven't found the time. This weekend I might get the chance to do something for the contest.
