Here's the problem with casting a 20 something year old, attractive female to play along side a female Doctor... The male lothario guest star (each and every week) has to pick one of them to hit on, and then we start keeping score about which of our girls is pulling more.

Weird.

My spell check does not recognise the word "lothario" and it's best suggestion about what it is thinking that I want to type is "harlot".

Super weird.

I can see the Bradley Walsh playing a bloke having a midlife crisis that's suddenly found himself with a 30-something attractive woman.

What attractive woman? She's quite plain.

She's not unrealistically Hollywood gorgeous no, but I'd hardly call her plain, but then given very few of the male Doctors have been leading man levels of handsome I'm glad they haven't gone for some glamour model type.
Suffice to say I find her looks quite appealing. After so many female and gay Whovians have spent years drooling over Eccleston/Tennant/Matt etc. I'm quite looking forward to finally being able to fancy the Doctor
