Avengers Infinity War (and beyond) anticipation thread

What's with the triangle shaped thing on Tony's chest? I thought the whatsitcalled was removed at the end of Iron Man 3?

And it's the cosmic cube triangle element back again after it's last appearance in IM3.

I hope his whole new suit doesn't come out of that arc reactor. The guardians might be able to compartmentalize their gear

flight vest(My nipples!) and breathing helmet

but I feel Tony should be behind them in terms of tech development by a few years since they live in space.

Then again, the Mark 43 was the Orbital Suit and apparently SWORD exists and works there, Tony has been gearing his stuff towards compactibility since IM2, so...why not?

Wait, how do we know that SWORD exists in the MCU?

I thought that was what the AoS season 4 finale was hinting at? they sure as hell didn't build a space station during the current run of the show, that seems to have been there some time now.

Wait, what? There's a spacestation in AoS now? I dropped out during season 3...
Not a station, no. Probably a ship. Whether it's SWORD or not is unconfirmed, but it would appear to be the obvious possibility.

Ok, no idea what SWORD is, probably something from the comics. Is it a big deal?

Season 3 was my least favorite, but season 4 is absolutely my favorite. Check it out.

I suppose I should finish season 3 at some point. I had the same struggle with Arrow, and dropped out during season 4. Glad I picked it back up and finished that. Season 5 is pretty good sofar, so maybe the same will happen with AoS

Sword is basically Shield, but against extraterrestrial threats (Sentient World Observation something something). And the stories I know of tended to portray it as maybe more aggressive, perhaps a bit closer to stepping over the line of ethical behavior.

S.W.O.R.D

Oh, I knew about that, but we don't know for sure that it is S.W.O.R.D.. They are one of the most likely possibilities, but there are a few others.

Allright, cool. Thanks for explaining. :)

Wait. What?

When was the Mark 43 also known as the the orbital suit? The Mark 43 was just the perfected version of the Mark 42. The 43 was like the regular day-to-day armor Stark wore
