Did you just ignore the last sentence in the post before this one?
No, I just disagree that that's actually gameplay vs. farming. No strategy, no skill, you literally just collect things, and then run more 'push play' missions where you...collect things. Can't try anything challenging, because you either have the number you need to overcome the obstacle, or you don't. Can't practice and get better, try another strategy, at best it's just trying the random number generator again and seeing if maybe you crit this time. I saw your post just fine, I just don't see how they qualify as gameplay. It's farming. You don't control the characters, you don't employ strategy, you pick items and let the RNG decide if you won or not. Space is the closest you can come to game play here, and it's only because you can select the timing of your 3-4 firing actions, which marginally affects how you perform. RBG still decides if you hit, or crit, or miss...
I'm confused how you have that many chronotons but complain about only having a couple of maxed characters. You do know that you can gear and level the rest up with that and all the honor you said you had, right?
Because running the same couple missions over and over again is brutally dull? there's no way to just 'auto-run' the mission or simulate it or whatever, so you have to keep picking the crew member for each challenge each time ad naseum, and it's time consuming and not fun? I do space missions more, because at least you can let the ship fly itself, but in general, they just take far too long for too little reward anyway. And when doing 'easy' level missions, I should be able to autopilot through them to gear up, not keep doing the manual bits.
Heck, only fairly recently did they update it so when building a part, you could auto-build the entire thing. that was brutal when you had to drill all the way down, build that component, add it to the next, etc. When building high end stuff, it was like 6 layers deep, even if you already had everything you needed...
