I like the part where he says "You ain't seen nothing yet!" He's right. We haven't. That's the problem.

The vacuum is full of energy that we ain't seen yet. Potential is everywhere. Its about e x e c u t i n g on the potential.

We didn't start this fire, it's been always burning since Alec's love for attention & money won't stop yearning.

Garbage fires last forever. Perhaps CBS/P should have closed the place and turned it to landfill. They may come to regret not being decisive if the endless prodding of limits from Axanar continues. This last missive from Axanar shows they really are not chastened at all. Didn't even make a dent. The industry respects them. Yea, ok. Its just Looney Tunes in that statement.

It's been quite a while since I was on here. I heard someone say Terry released some of the financials on Facebook. I checked the two groups I could think of and didn't run across them (might need to check again)...........what I did find though is absolutely side splitting (this creator's got some skills with Photoshop/Illustrator that are second to none)

Why do all the photos I've ever seen AP in make him look kind of creepy? Or a used car salesman? Or both? Seriously, there's just some creepiness about the eyes, the way he tilts his head and especially that smile of his that just doesn't feel right. I've always kind of quietly felt that way but these latest Photoshopped movie posters really somehow accentuate the sleaziness that I've felt has always been there.

They were broke. They did a "not for Axanar" Kickstarter fundraiser to "pay the rent on the studio while get our long term operations going". When that spectacularly failed, they pretended it wasn't a violation of their settlement to let the donors "vote" to spend the money on Axanar by paying to move the sets to a warehouse outside of Atlanta, the new 'studio'. They bailed on the LA studio and all the investment of donor money there, gave it all to the warehouse owner, to get Alec out of his lease commitment. Then announced they would be filming in LA anyway, and not using the sets. Declared that their production studio company 'had served its purpose' and would be shut down. The usual sound business planning.

Aside from that, no actual produced anything, just stories to the faithful in the walled garden, claims of great work product to come at some point, claims of great support from inside the industry and a new corporate sponsor, and leaks about how bad it may have been all along (the script, a bunch of missing money alleged). They are allowed by the settlement to create the segments just like any other fan film, with the stipulation they cannot use any more crowdfunding to do it.

Oh, and an axanar 'convention' to occur a week after the local sf convention.

No, seriously, I gave up on the thread about 500 pages ago and although I was aware of the new 'guidelines' I wasn't sure exactly what Axanar was up to, so thanks for the update folks !

Anybody opened the betting on when Axanar pts 1 and 2 will be out ?
