What chicanery is LFIM up to these days? Still fleecing people?

When Method Acting Goes Too Far.

And MY studio will make the best Star Trek stories ever!

Please forgive me, but exactly where is your studio?

Out there, waiting for me. Donors will flock to my cause, and for good reason. Limitless talent, limitless entertainment, and quality IPs ruled by the elite. We, gentlemen, are that elite, and we must take what is rightfully ours from the decadent weaklings that now hold it.

As you wish. At any rate, you must be aware of the fact that you are attempting to recreate the disaster which resulted in your becoming the bane of Fanfilmdom in the first place.

I was betrayed and treated barbarically.

On the contrary, you were treated with justice and with compassion,
which you failed to show towards any of your intended donors.
Logically, therefore, one must assume . . .

The comic is... compatible with the level of storytelling the leaked Axanar script provides.

I've published plenty of Star Trek fanzines. They were works of love, like fan films, and money collected for them went to pay the printing and mailing costs. The Internet has practically killed them all off, since a reader can find practically anything they want on-line for free. Our own Classic Trek zines can be found at www.orionpressfanzines.com. Our on-line fiction can be found at: http://www.orionpressfanzines.com/archives.htm

I bought quite a few Orion Press publications back in the late '80s/early '90s, though I think I mainly bought them through Bill Hupe. Then the government of Canada introduced the GST, which made ordering from the US a pain. It was fun while it lasted. I liked Orion's effort at maintaining a consistent continuity and ongoing story threads.

An epic four page comic! FOUR PAGES! That's a hell of a lot of story, right there!

But count 'em! FOUR PAGES!

I wonder how much His Majesty charged the artist for the privilege of creating that masterpiece? :techman:

Not to be anal, but it's actually a cover and three pages. ("There Are Three Pages!")

Is that the script? Because, if so, it can be only 2 minutes per page, depending on the script...so 8 minutes of footage, give or take...That's one expensive script.

A four-page graphic novel took a full month to complete??? I know people who could have knocked this out in a week, during the evenings after their day-jobs.

Hell, I'm pretty sure there are pro comic artists who do multiple full length issues in a single month.

It wasn't built in a year, either. It wasn't built in ... oh, wait, it hasn't been built at all.
But, but but ... All the fanfare, the awards, the donors rallying to the sound of his horn. The glorious march to be so much more awesome than all which would dare to stand before great Lord of super coolness.
and.. and... Nothing you say? That's a damn shame.
