Who saw voyager when it aired?

I did.

'At the time' might be an exageration. It aired years later here, and I had to tape its bloody 2am airings.

I liked it for what it was (diversionary fun), and Capt. Janeway inspired my daughter. She had a full sized action figure, and a signed photo from Kate Mulgrew. Thanks, Ms. Mulgrew.

Starting with September 28, 1987 (the night TNG premiered), I have watched ALL episodes of each spinoff as it aired, first run, until the finale of ENTERPRISE aired. Including all movies that were filmed during that time... from THE FINAL FRONTIER all the way to NEMESIS.

I was 8 years when TNG premiered, and for those 18 years straight through, I was happy to have STAR TREK as my show to watch. I never mossed an episode, and I taped them all as they aired. I was quite sad when ENTERPRISE was canceled... the end of an era for me.

With DISCOVERY coming in a few months, I get to watch new episodes of what got me into scifi to begin with. I have missed that feeling for too long.

Saw every episode on its UK premiere on Sky One. Not sure how far behind the US we were back then.

I remember "Caretaker" having clips from later in the episode air without sound under the titlecard before and after commercial breaks. Rather than entice me to keep watching, it just spoiled the end of certain scenes!

I watched Voyager from the beginning but, after season 3, my interest waned. I had been a big TNG fan and was a huge DS9 fan and that show held my interest far more. I eventually saw all the rest of Voyager in reruns or on Netflix.

I did but it was a late night show over here airing at 1030 and then it got shifted to 1130 in the later seasons.

I did watch VOY from the start, as opposed to all the earlier shows, so it will always have sort of a special place in my heart.

As I live in an European country I didn't starting watching Voyager until 1998.
1998, really? Where you at? (VOY premiered in 1996 in Germany.)

I have the sky premier and the making of still on VHS from the premiere...maybe I should transcode it one day so we can lol relive it xD I love watching the old ads.

I watched it and DS9 and TNG as well they all showed good moral values as did TOS and the animation serie too they showed hope of a better tomorrow that was Gene Roddenberry wish the world and that he talked with scientists about the advancements going at time because he hope that some parts of his dream would come true and I think it has in many ways we still need to help to find world peace that's the big picture of his dream. That's what I got out of the shows. How about the rest of the watcher's

I would finish work and hit a hotel gym where I could watch Voyager while working out. The world seemed to be out drinking, but I was being inspired to go back to college, and I did.

I watched Caretaker the first time it aired, I watched Endgame the first time it aired, and probably caught 2/3 of the episodes or so on their first airing.

I've seen everything except the animated series but I can totally see just deciding you don't like a series and not wanting to spend the time to get through it. I quit Enterprise after season 2 and only came back and watched it later because everyone was saying it got much better in season 4.

I saw Voyager at a convention in Europe before it was aired in Europe. And it looked very cool because it was on a big screen back then. I saw the premier of DS9 when it first aired too.

I remember watching the series finale and there was a special local news broadcast about it. They went live and asked questions to some of the actors about how they felt about the last episode. When they got to Garrett Wang, and he said he didn't like and said it could have been done different, a little better.

That's Garrett, honest to the last. (thumbs up) lol

Well, I'm from Europe, was a kid at the time and didn't have cable ... the local stations started to air Star Trek: Voyager in 1997 or 1998 - but only the first two seasons!!! I had to wait about two or three more years (till we had cable) to continue the series. And during that time we got a computer with internet access and I was sooo excited about all the Interviews, Photos and Fanpages out there. I feel like a million!!! LOL
