Klingon Behavior in Day of the Dove

Actually JB, you can also see her in the crewmens' lounge scenes. She is a cutie, if I can say that about Klingon warrior women. Look! No omeletes on their foreheads!

Well spotted Lord Beard, I hadn't noticed her in the background before! Shame on me! :weep:

....but, but, but Kang says to Kirk "A Klingon would never have surrendered." Then later Kang and his remaining crew surrender without a fight.
You need to take the situation of the line in context to the action on screen:

Kirk surrendered because the Klingons were torturing Chekov. The have them stop said torture, Kirk surrendered.
^^^
Kang was effectively say: "Surrendering to stop the torture of a crewman under your Command? A Klingon Captain would never do such a thing."

(Of course there's the fact Kirk probably realized at that point HOW he could turn the tables on Kang via the Transporter if the Klingons didn't notice he was sending a hidden signal to Mr. Spock.)

Yes, I've seen a few of the clips although I never noticed all those years ago myself, Mytran!

He was Mirt, Kalo's companion at the beginning of A Piece of The Action but he got hit in the attack by Krako's boys!
