So is the implication there that this poll not indicative? That is rubbish.
It's not indicative of any widespread rejection of the change on the grounds of consistency.
It's got nothing to do with what I say. It's simply not the poll question.
I have already explained that I voted "I don't like the look" for aesthetic reasons that have nothing to do with inconsistency. You will never know how many others voted based on "consistency"-issues because it's simply not the question.
It also says nothing about how strong the dislike is. Apparently the look is a huge issue to you which makes you not want to watch the show. We have no idea how many people have extremes views like you and the poll doesn't answer this either.
I mean, damn... you even completely misused the term "plagiarism" in one of your angry posts.

The average viewer is not going to care one whit that Klingons look different now than they used to.
Millions of people watch Star Trek. Only a few thousand of them seem to care all that much about things like canon or consistency across series. It's the nature of the beast.
Just relax and enjoy the ride. Life's too short to be angry about a TV show.

The "average viewer" doesn't give two spits if the Klingons don't look like Worf.
I know I don't, and I'm a bit more than an average viewer.
What I care about is that the show looks good, tells good stories, and doesn't bore me to death recounting details from previous shows. It's a big galaxy out there. Let's see something new.

You said the creators of Discovery plagiarized Star Trek.
Nothing that happened fits the definition of plagiarism. Like I said: Words have meanings.
They have a license and they will most certainly credit the original creator. It literally cannot be plagiarism.
Why complicated it? Just consider them the same as the TOS and TNG version of Klingon. Just think them as a re-imagination of the species. If the TOS fans can accept the change when TNG released, why can't we? Don't over analyst the show too much. Star Trek need to evolve. Like Star Trek TOS that evolve to Star Trek TNG. Now they need to evolve again. So accept them and enjoy

For cryin' out loud, not all humans look the same. We know for a fact that over 50 years of Trek not all Klingons look the same.

You can stand by whatever you want. Doesn't change the fact that it simply does not constitute an act of plagiarism because it doesn't fit the central aspects of the definition.
You can, of course, use words any way you want but then nothing you say will make sense to us. You can start using the word "peach" to refer to a chair if you want.

I didn't put this poll up.. but it shows people do have a different reaction to just accepting this version of Klingons.
