Which is why the Mummy is being rebooted?

Maybe they are undead Klingons? Or that Stargate/Star Trek crossover I've been waiting for.
The Mummy has magic and curses. If it were just some ancient Egyptian person you could beat them to death with a sledgehammer after distracting them with cat videos.

In fact I'd love to be a moderator on a Klingon nerd internet forum:

1) I bet bans and infractions are a lot more fun there.
2) Bonz better be careful. We know how promotions work in the Klingon part of the universe.
Every single mod report would be "this post has no honor!"

YOU LIKED NEMESIS BETTER THAN FIRST CONTACT? DISHONOURABLE! WE SHALL BATTLE TO THE DEATH! THE VICTORS WILL DRENCH THEMSELVES IN BLOOD AND FEAST ON BLOOD WIIIINNNEEE! RAWRG!

Actually, I take it back: I want to see a Klingon 80s sitcom now.

Opening a barrel of bloodwine became the way of celebrating anything in DS9 - that would be the equivalent of "liking" posts

I CONCUR WITH YOUR OPINION, LET US CELEBRATE THIS DAY WITH SONGS OF OUR DEEDS AND BARREL OF BLOODWINE BREWED ON KANGS SUMMIT

Do Klingons have the equivalent of pot? Because if all they do is drink blood wine it could explain a lot. The older Klingons from the TNG era would be perfect for a space based Cheech and Chong movie. Hell, even those names are Klingon names. What we need here is another Klingon re-imaging.

We should transform this forum into a Klingon-themed forum on Halloween every year. Or maybe April Fool's day.

I'm sure that's not too much work, right admins? :p

what if the ancient Klingons in Discovery all just misunderstood because of their look and are actually very soft-spoken and kind?

*Starfleet interrupts a Klingon funeral*
Klingons: "Hey guys, are you here to pay respects?"
Starfleet:"OMG! I THINK HE SAID THEY'LL BREAK OUR NECKS!!!"

You know, we haven't heard them talk yet... what if the ancient Klingons in Discovery all just misunderstood because of their look and are actually very soft-spoken and kind?

This is Star Trek. You can tell most things about people by what race they belong to.

This means that you can get entire stories out of holding up a guest starring character as a very fine or troublesome exception to the rule.

Gene's Vision!

The Klingons look like Klingons. Though I still would've liked them to focus on something different after Modern Trek beat them to death.

I was making a joke obviously.
I'm a bit sad that we had to get Klingons again. Like most other races the whole concept behind the Klingon race was just to exaggerate one aspect of human society to the absolute max and use that as the basis of an alien race. It's lazy and one-dimensional. Klingons are all about honor, Ferengi all about capitalism, Romulans all about nationalism, and so on.
This is why I liked the Andorians in ENT. They were still believable yet not exactly like humans.

Surely there's some Klingon themed holiday already existing within the fandom?
Those puny human joke days are not acceptable for true warriors! :klingon:
