Does the BBC broadcast any reruns of the latest episode?

I've been checking some online tvguides, but can't find it anywhere.
I'm Dutch, and for the next two saturdays, I'll probably be missing Doctor Who. The Pilot actually had me interested enough again that I'm bummed out I won't be able to see the next two episodes.

And, before people start suggesting 'online alternatives', that's basicly illegal and this forum frowns upon that. So, let's no go there shall we?

I can only recive BBC One, Two and the European BBC First. So, if anyone knows if either one of those broadcasts a rerun a day or a few days later, I'd love to know!

Are you able to record the episodes? if not, the best bet would be BBCII!, but that would be online only and is geolocked for individuals outside of the UK.

No, one of my bigger regrets really, not getting a digital recorder. Back then, I didn't feel the need, since we hardly ever watch TV. Only Netflix and bluray/dvd. Doctor Who and GBBO, those are the only two shows we actually watch on TV. So, back then, I figured the extra costs for a digital recorder were not needed.

As for the BBCII!, yup, that's geolocked. Tried it before.

The BBC uses their Iplayer to stream it's reruns, as well as stream original programming they don't think will cut it on terrestrial tv. All of BBCII is digital content. Iplayer is geolocked to the UK, but if you are using a VPN, you can toggle that to pretend that you are Scottish.

Which is not illegal, but it is (unprosecutable) theft and immoral.

Humorously, most people the age of your parents might have a working VCR, not that you also have a vcr somewhere in your attic... but for the emotional cost + gas of dealing with the aged, pinching cheeks and asking after new grandchildren, you could probably pick up a Chinese import DVDR for 15 Euro.

I'll just figure something out. I don't think I'm going to have the time to source, buy and set-up a DVDR right now, what with work and us prepping for moving house and all. Plus, this weekend I have a final gig with my old band, sort of a one last hoorah. So yeah, we'll see.

Going the legal route, if you're able to purchase episodes, buying two episodes might not be too bad of an imposition. At Amazon US for two episodes it would be $4 - $6 depending if you go HD or not.

On a side note, I see Google and iTunes has The Pilot available for free if anyone could use that.

You don't. At least, you didn't have to. Try "buying" a free app or book; when creating your account there should be an option for not adding a payment method.

It's only US iTunes. In UK (and Australia) it's priced normally. US iTunes also has the first episode of Class for free.

Just use a VPN or one of those Google Chrome extensions to trick BBC iPlayer's geoblocking. I did that for series 9 episodes when I didn't want to deal with BBC America's arbitrary commercial breaks. It worked flawlessly, every time.

Since I already have BBC America and could've watched it there had I chosen, I didn't view it as theft....just watching it 4 hours early.
