Spoilers Supergirl - Season 2

O'RLY? Is that why (in the latest Daxam destruction Flashback we saw) Mon-El was awoken by the carnage with two women in his bed whom he promptly pushed away and ignored as he ran out to the Courtyard (pushing aside one or two more Palace Guards along the way - before his bodyguard killed a Kryptonian diplomat and shoved Mon-El into the ship and auto-lauched it?;)

Adding to that, notice how some supporters conveniently forget than only a few episodes ago, Mon-El exposed more of his inherently corrupt nature in admitting his desire to continue his homeworld's handling (eliminating) those of Mxyzptlk's species (when not partying with them--oh, there's that). That cannot be swept away.

...and once again, Mon-El's nonexistent altruistic reasons for wanting to be a "hero" centers exclusively on his crush on Supergirl. Where is this "better person" some refer to?

Backpedaling will not help change what your statement meant: "Go ahead and leave the thread." The more you defend this indefensible position, the more you appear guilty.
What crack are you on? He's not backpedaling. You just keep using his quote out of context. Which is really silly since everyone in the thread can read the original exchange.
Go ahead and leave the thread, then, because Mon-El isn't going anywhere.

Chris Wood already confirmed that the writers have at least a two-year arc planned for his character.

Newcomer to the thread.

I think the best candidate for Kara's boyfriend was Win Schott. He's quirky and funny like her, and like her he's a strange cross between cool kid and nerd. They would have been great together. I wish the first year had gone in that direction.

I don't like Mon-El anywhere near as much, not because he has character deficiencies, but because his particular deficiency is a kind of moral squishiness. There's no steel in his spine. He doesn't mean to be bad but he's too soft (morally amorphous) or just too lazy to be good. I don't see the appeal of that.

Still, what a great series.

Like @sojourner said, I didn't backpedal. I simply defended my comment in the context I'm which it was made.

I'm also not sure why you decided to inject yourself into something that had nothing to do with you in the first place.

"nothing to do with you" Amusing. This from the same guy who--in this thread--has quoted/posted your usual "Why are you watching/posting here?" to members who were not always addressing you at all.

If Kara wanted to tap Win on any level, she wouldn't have dry wretched when she saw Win hammering Silver Banshee in a supply closet that time.

I still don't understand why they broke up.

Win and Siobhan.

Girlfriend trumps friend.

Sure she was "evil" now, but wouldn't that just make the sex better?

I tend to be a little cautious on reporting news because some people do not want to know anything early. Its a returning guest star. For me that only leaves one more person I want to see again before the season ends.

^ If that person is Cat Grant, you're going to be waiting in vain, as it was confirmed months ago that they weren't able to make Calista Flockhart's schedule work out in spite of a tremendous amount of effort on that front.

Is Lucy Lane finally coming back?

I feel very confident in saying that it's 99.9% likely that she's really the President of the United States, largely because there's comics precedent for
a member of her species
building a full life and identity on Earth in "human" form (this is exactly what happened with R.J. Brande, who, I might add, was referenced in the episode itself, which is kind of fitting given this new
revelation about Marsdin.
)
And I'm fairly confident that's the real reason they didn't have an Earth-1 Marsdin become President.

I don't consider the casting news for the finale to be a spoiler.

Not A Spoiler--the villain of Star Trek II is Khan.
Spoiler--Spock dies in Star Trek II.

I'm looking forward to the finale. I hope it goes as well as the prior appearance.

Superman and Cat are coming back! Awesome!

Mon-El has grown on me. The chemistry is there.

Kara's attitude toward Daxamites is the moral intolerance of youth. She'll probably outgrow it.
