Episode Help Please

There was an episode where the Defiant went to a planet and discovered the people there were actually descendants of themselves...or something like that, and they had to do something drastic otherwise they would all disappear. I think Kira was very upset about their decision not to help. Those are the sketchy details I remember. Can anyone tell me what episode this is?

I'll check that out now. Children of Time had a tough ending. I had forgotten they had all agreed to stay behind.

I love "Children Of Time", such a great sci-fi setup, and they really go there with Odo. It's such a clever way to finally do the reveal for Kira.

Also, last time we see the Gamma Quadrant until the end of the series finale.
