I head they had 10 "Star Wars" films lined up a few years ago. that seems like alot of movies for something i'm not sure can substain itself once you start moving further away from the original films. Makes since to me that rebooting the franchise's biggest mistake and basically telling the story the right way would be something that people would go for.
I know some people like the prequels but i'm not sure many people love them. I just don't see them as being something people feel strongly about in terms of erasing it from canon. Granted I think this is something that wouldn't or shouldn't be done while George Lucas is still alive but in the future it is something that makes alot of sense to me. You could even keep things people like about them such as using yoda and emperior and Darth Maul. Actually they could even expand the role of Darth Maul which is something I think alot of people wish they had done.
