I just started The Expanse last night and have been going through season 3 back to back since then. First time I have watched most of these since they aired. The biggest gripe I am seeing now is......the seasons were too long, or they didn't have enough meat in the story arc. There are some really good moments but just when things get rocking they throw in one of those episodes that has no point and by the end of the episode everything that happens has been wiped away. Twilight and North Star come to mind.......
There are a couple of those episodes in season 3.
If memory serves, they ran two back to back which made it worse.
I think that might be where I currently am! Even Carpenter Street could have really been omitted.........
Well, Carpenter Street works with the Xindi storyline though. I like that one.
Funny enough, "Twilight" and "Carpenter Street" are two of my favorites not only from season 3 but of the entire series. Funny how we all see these things differently
Twilight and North Star were shown back to back. I love both episodes, but I did feel while watching that I wanted to get back to the Xindi.

Watching True Lies instead naughty me!
Watched the whole show over Nov-Jan, and have spent the time since then reading the novel continuation. With the lack of contradictory content on screen, seems right to consider those books as telling the accurate story of what happened to the crew after Terra Prime.
Anyway, the missus got me the bluray set this past week (first Trek I've upgraded from DVD to bluray!) so I've spent each night going through the new documentaries and such, and now have had my appetite wet enough to watch the whole show all over again. Seriously, I love this show so much, and whilst it still hurts when I get to the end of it, I just can't resist the urge to watch it whenever I get the chance.
Favourite Trek show, no question.

Sure it doesn't fit the story arc, but North Star is a darn good episode, IMO. I guess I may have been annoyed having to wait a full week to get back to the story arc if watching in the original run, but with Netflix, it is great to have some standalone episodes mixed into the heavy season 3 arc.
True---Netflix does make it easier to forgive........
I thought Twilight was pretty good just for the story and visuals alone, regardless of if they use a reset button. And even if the story sucked I'd be pretty forgiving of it's reset button, because we'd know they won't fail to stop the weapon even if this wasn't a prequel to other series, so this is the only way to see what could have been. I look at it like an issue of Marvel's What If, I guess.
Just finished watching Enterprise on netflix apart from butchering the theme tune the last two seasons were not all that bad.
I think the show got a lot better when they got rid of the Daniel story line.
It was just a shame that these are the voyagers was the biggest pile of shit I think trek has produced.

Is there a noticable difference between the Blu-Rays and Netflix?
