Wouldn't 90 min violate the settlement. Didn't he agree to 2 15 min segments?
Yes. But, I'm sure as soon as he agreed to the settlement, he started thinking of ways to get around it.

The lawsuit, nor its settlement, cannot compel anyone to do anything who is not a party to the suit. So, yes, I can confidently tell you that things will prove interesting over time

That suggests to me that Gary Graham and the other "approved" actors are probably done as far as real Trek goes.
I doubt Peters can afford to pay for them at this point. So, CBS really gave him nothing there.
I don't doubt that because some people follow the rules and other people cause the rules.......... to be created.
Can't wait for the inevitable documentary where the rabid Axa-faithful share stories about how they watched Prelude two hundred times and maxed out their credit card to donate and when they woke up the next morning the cyst was gone and the doctor said it was a miracle.
You are taking the word "content" to mean Axanar's story.

The universe outside of Alec's emotions doesn't require or really want any justifications of could have beens, or *any* exposure to his immature presence, words, views, etc. The donors sure as hell don't want to have it shoved in their face that they bought Alec a studio, either.
Besides, by the time they drop content on their donors, evidence of Axacrap will be as countless as the stars, like droppings upon the firmament. The *only* way they can dig themselves out of this hole is by playing it straight and producing something fans enjoy, without *any* [any, Any, ANY] ego or personalities or posturing or promotion.
Largely because of the sheer brazen unrepentedness of their behavior now, I am seeing Axanar these days as a mangled, septic knee in the body of fandom. Surgery and endless anti-egotics might be able to make it tolerable, but really it needs to be removed, not salvaged. Those still speaking for Axanar do NOT speak for the larger body of Trek or follow its common conduct. They have clearly learned nothing from their defeat, they actually think they won the right to do what everyone else is allowed to do. They are going to be a pain to everyone else until they are done and gone. The sooner they do whatever they are going to do and peter out, the better.

Well, it means Alec Peters CAN use that 2+ minute "Vulcan Scene" that was shot (and any other raw footage they may have with those actors) in the final cut, if nothing else.I doubt Peters can afford to pay for them at this point. So, CBS really gave him nothing there.
Oh, I know they could easily be sued for it, but it just seems like something they would try to do to get around the imposed limitations.
If Axanar is actually so brazen as to produce *anything* that tries to extend the GarthPewPew story past 30'00".0000, including "documentary about what would have been shot", I believe they will be shown the airlock without any regrets from the studios or the judge.

The fan production must be less than 15 minutes for a single self-contained story, or no more than 2 segments, episodes or parts, not to exceed 30 minutes total, with no additional seasons, episodes, parts, sequels or remakes.
I think that would likely be covered under the "no additional parts" section. That said, we don't know the specifics of how the settlement deals with what they're allowed to produce. I do know that CBS will be watching what they do very carefully since Peters is well known for trying to exploit loopholes. CBS has lawyers more capable than he who can do the same thing in the reverse direction.
I'm guessing the 90 minutes breaks down to two 15-minute episodes of Axanar, the Axanar: Heroes vignette and the Battle For Axanar documentary (which is sure to be the most imaginative thing they produce)
To be fair to Alec, there's been a lot of rationalizations of late from fan-film producers along the lines of "they're guidelines, not laws". The most notable is Continues who is taking an attitude of "we'll just proceed as if there's no guidelines until told not to." If there's one thing Alec won't want is to see any other fan production get away with more than he does. So expect there to be a lot of "we can do this since they got away with it" going on.
If this happens, expect CBS to start issuing more C&Ds than they would otherwise.
