More Of The Serpent Than The Dove - is it still possible to get it?

The photo comic More Of The Serpent Than The Dove was only available as part of something called a "Humble Bundle". According to the Humble Bundle website, "this bundle is over". So is it still possible to get it somewhere else or is it gone forever?

Thanks guys for making me remember I had this. I put it on ebay on a whim to see if there was any interest. 12 hours later its gone. I paid 20 for the whole bundle a few months ago and sold the comic alone for almost 30 today. :techman:

Damn, I wish I had seen that. I would have raised the bid...

I don't know for a fact that this will be part of a future reprint omnibus. I do know that it would be unprecedented, or mighty close to it, for IDW to issue a bit of Star Trek content once only. I expect within three years it'll be available digitally and in print in multiple marginally different reprint collections. Nobody recycles content like IDW.

I'm hoping for that. I screwed up on when the Humble Bundle expired and missed it but didn't think it was a fatal mistake at the time.

Are any of the Gorn characters in the comic the same one Kirk fought in Arena?

I thought originally the write-ups suggested he would be featured, but the story concerns a diplomatic delegation of Ssarkoss, Ambassador Shrakiss and Chief Delegate Krassass, plus another Gorn who helps Scotty in Engineering, Ansstass.

That character appeared in two issues of Marvel's Star Trek Unlimited comic under the name S'alath. I think he's been referenced by that name in the novels at least once. There was a character in DC's "The Return of the Worthy" comic that was supposed to be him, but the continuity restrictions at the time required him to be redrawn and rewritten as a different species (called Raaskaa of the "Lath" species -- perhaps "S'alath" was a nod to that?), although a couple of occurrences of "Gorn" slipped through the editing process.

Is this already sort of a collector's item? Glad I jumped on the Bundle when it was available

Did other series that had Humble Bundle exclusive issues include them in later collected editions?

I haven't seen any other exclusives like that, though there may have been some. Nothing Star Trek-related as far as I know, though.

Yeah, this is the first Trek exclusive like this, but I'm pretty sure I've seen other comic Bundles with exclusive comics. I was going to try to look them up earlier, but I don't remember specific examples.
