Spoilers Supergirl - Season 2

I know it doesn't really make sense, but I think it would be hilarious if Gilbert Gottfried played him. It probably wouldn't make sense for live action, but he was great as the character in the animated series and his voice just works very well for the character.
He's short enough that it could work.

Had a thought:

Indigo - Brainiac 8
Livewire
Silver Banshee
Metallo
Mxyzsptlk
Parasite
Toyman

If the bulk of Superman's rogue's gallery is only just now making their debut, what has Superman himself been doing for the past decades? Cat and mouse with Lex Luthor?
The Prankster .

Yeah, I was kinda expecting something more substantial to come form that.
I figured J'onn would struggle a bit more to control his White Martian nature, realize what it was like for M'gann to overcome that, which would lead to a new and better understanding between them. Instead he was cured as an afterthought and M'gann, who's still rotting in jail for helping him, wasn't even mentioned...

Yep--another false dilemma for episodes with no full stories to fill the running time.

If the bulk of Superman's rogue's gallery is only just now making their debut, what has Superman himself been doing for the past decades? Cat and mouse with Lex Luthor?

It makes no sense. In the desperation to create a Supergirl series, they have ripped Superman's villains, WB-DC cartoon plots, etc., so much that for any viewer familiar with the source, they too will ask your relevant question. The only answer is that Superman has been thoroughly shortchanged all to build up Supergirl, that he's not much more than a guy in a super-suit, "piggybacking" on Supergirl's world of villains. Imagine that.

Looks like a certain Season 1 character is returning...

Wow, surprised to see her, given:

That she's pretty much a supporting character with no real "character" to her aside from spouting expositional dialogue and sometimes getting knocked around by the villain of the week. What, was Winn busy that week spouting expositional dialogue and getting knocked around somewhere else?

That said, Briana Venskus has been around of late. She was on The Walking Dead in one episode this season (so far?), and was even BACK on Agents of SHIELD in the opener episode this season. I guess the producers on Supergirl like her enough to bring her up for a minor job, which I'm guessing any local actor should be able to fulfill (full dues to Briana of course, she's standout-ish enough that we're even talking about her!).

Perhaps she's been taking care of their old base all this time. :)

Maybe she'll end up being gay so they can add some extra drama to the Alex / Maggie relationship?

Nah.

Alex's story has been the best part of season 2 so far, and the show in general, and since she just got an apartment set in the last episode it's a given that their relationship will feature more(yay!), but I'm hoping that it will continue to be as beautifully done as it was up till now, without any contrived drama.

I love that the arc so far hasn't been focused on external conflict(namely dealing with homophobia, which is where most coming out stories go), but instead entirely focused on Alex and her discovering and dealing with her emotions, and there's plenty more to tell about that after coming out, and especially while getting into a relationship.

I don't think we need a love triangle for Alex and Maggie just yet.

But will make an exception for Batwoman. :)

Alex just realized who she was and is becoming comfortable with it. Having a three way just seems like too much in a short period of time. Like Maggie said, it's best to take it slow.
