What's going on over at The Trek Collective?

I hope the guy is ok and just on hiatus because he's busy with real life stuff.

I think at this point I'm just accepting the fact that, for whatever reason, the Trek Collective is no more. If 8of5 pops back up in the future, I'll be excited, but it doesn't seem to be happening at this point.

TheTrekCollective was/is one of my favorite Trek sites and a great source of information regarding Trek merchandise.

I really hope the guy is all right.

I'll echo everyone else in hoping 8of5 is okay. The site was definitely worthy of multiple visits a week seeing as the posts were almost daily. Best wishes to him.

As I said earlier, there is activity on what I'm reasonably sure is @8of5`s personal twitter account. Since this seems to be a deliberate choice to take a break (?), I feel like contacting that account would be intrusive, though, especially since I only found it through some searching and googling and I have already tried to contact him via eMail.

Gone in what way? I just went there and it loads up fine and the site, although not updated since September because of some issue (life does that from time to time) it is still there.

Perhaps 8of5 has personal reasons for his absence and those who do know something are keeping quiet out of respect for his privacy? He is entitled to his privacy and doesn't owe any of us an explanation for why he hasn't updated his website.

Yeah, somebody already said up thread that they saw him posting on a personal social media account, so it sounds like he's OK, he just isn't posting on Trek Collective anymore.
